Ep. 330 Building Up in Love, Part 1 (1 Corinthians 14:1-5)

Ep. 330 Building Up in Love, Part 1 (1 Corinthians 14:1-5)

The Corinthians had a love problem in their congregation, and were putting much of their focus on how to elevate themselves instead of loving others. So how does Paul instruct them in this regard? Having laid forth his words in "the love chapter" (1 Cor. 13), he continues his thoughts by telling the church how love should lead to the desire to build up the church. We begin to explore this in this episode.

    Christ's Church

    Christ's Church

Justin Smith provides a lesson that examines the church's foundation as laid out in the New Testament by Christ and his apostles. This lesson is a good refresher about the fundamental teachings necessary to understand the path to salvation.

Have you ever considered that silence is another voice in a relationship? You, your partner, and the voice of silence. Unspoken words, thoughts and feelings that are active in your mind and body are just as strong, if not stronger, then what we choose to actually say.

Clint Smith has a brief, powerful and poetic message that will inspire and edify the voice of silence in you to take a stand!

In this message, Pastor Neil reminds us not to flaunt our Christian liberties, but to take care that our actions don't cause a fellow believer to violate his or her conscience. For in our freedom, we are free to choose to make ourselves servants in order to pursue peace and edify our brothers and sisters in Christ.
