Ep. 35 Sherri Dupree-Bemis of Eisley & Perma
After a little hiatus I am back with a wonderful guest and friend - Sherri Dupree- Bemis of Eisley and Perma ( with husband Max Bemis of Say Anything)
We have so much fun talking! Our conversation ranges from her life as a mother & wife, her sobriety journey, the history and future of Eisley & Perma to debunking the long internet debate / myth that she and Paramore's Hayley Williams must be enemies. *nothing could be further from the truth* That time Eisley toured with Coldplay( !!!) and the paparazzi snapped a shot of Gwyneth Paltrow in an Eisley shirt and lots more!
Sherri had been a constant voice of hope and creativity in my world for years! It’s an honor to call her a podcast guest and friend 💖 She’s a gem!

- Writing songs for people
- Playing for Drive-Thru
- The intro to belt
- Buddyhead
- Rama from Big Wheel
- Bipolar and Manifesting
- How fast did Is A Real Boy blow up
- Anarchy, My Dear
- In Defense of the Genre

- And a ton more

The Navy vs The Night Monsters| Monster Attack Ep.171
Jim examines a low-budget monster movie that has gained a large cult following the last several years with 1966's "The Navy vs The Night Monsters," starring Mamie Van Doren, Anthony Eisley, Billy Gray, Walter Sande, Edward Faulkner and Bobby Van. Foliage samples from "Operation Deep Freeze" in Antarctica create havoc on an isolated island serving as a military research station. It's Man against Nature on this week's episode of "Monster Attack!"
Collaboratory 5 - A Wolf in Cheap Clothing
Return to the lab with us this week as Claire, Dan, Kit, and Meganbob attempt to build a coherent story out of random characters and plot elements!
Things get wild quickly as the core cast includes a woman who's a wolf, a man who's an owl, and a cat who's a people. Mix in story elements from Star Wars, Image Comics, Oscar Wilde, and obscure Australian westerns, and you end up with a tale of adventure, deception, intrigue, and... contact juggling? Seriously, this one is really weird.
The Wasp Woman | Monster Attack Ep. 128
It's an alliterative favorite from Jim's past as he reminisces on Roger Corman's 1959 cult classic, "The Wasp Woman," starring Susan Cabot, Barboura Morris, Anthony Eisley and Michael Mark. The owner of a large cosmetics firm tries to find the fountain of youth with an experimental enzyme resulting in horrific results. It's all ahead on this episode of "Monster Attack!"

Elle Puckett
Elle Puckett (Poema, Eisley) was already touring the country playing music at the age of 15. From growing up in the "desertier" Albuquerque, New Mexico suburb of Rio Rancho to life in Nashville and now Portland, Elle has experienced a life in music far beyond her years. She is a gifted songwriter, guitarist and vocalist who has been performing with her sister Shealeen since they were 10 and 12 years old. Hear how they used every vehicle available to criss cross the country on the Warped Tour in 2010 and how a chance encounter with sisters from the band Eisley in a bathroom at SXSW led to her current role as their guitarist. This and much, much more!

31 - Captain Kirk vs. Commander Shepard
In space, no one can hear you swipe through Tinder -- sorry, Space Tinder. Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Jane Shepard, each on a mission to find some space lovin', wind up at a party in Mos Eisley Spaceport, where their respective bragging about their romantic prowess quickly leads to a competition. Who can become the most popular sci-fi hero in the club and go home with the most space hotties? Will Kirk's legendary libido see him through yet another challenge, or will Shepard select all the right dialogue options to get to those sweet, sweet cutscenes? Also, Dan tries to convince Miles to play Mass Effect, Colin eats carrots (stealing Kit's gimmick in the process) and Liz Logan presents yet another batshit insane Lightning Round.
S08E07 Darth Maul vs Jar Jar Binks
It is a period of civil Battlecast.
Andy's Rebel spacedicks have won
many victories against James and
the evil Galactic Empire.
Today marks the final showdown between two Sith titans. Dark Maul (James), a Zabrak from Dathomir will face off against one of the most powerful and hilariously controversial Lords of the Dark Side, Jar Jar Binks (Andy)
Let's join the two in the famed Mos Eisley Cantina and see how it all unfolds on today's episode of Battlecast.

The Expanded Comicverse - Episode 007
With the closing of another month, that means it's time for The Expanded Comicverse, our show where we like to recap, review and chat about all the newest Star Wars comics from Marvel Comics.
This month we talk about the five titles that hit the shelves in July with Catrina Dennis. Catrina hosts her own podcast about Star Wars comics called The Mos Eisley Comic Port Podcast (as well as having many other cool online projects!). Be sure to check it out!
This month we continue our discussion about Boba Fett, and ask once again, is he the galaxies greatest bounty hunter, or just a guy who got lucky on one job. We also compare Obi-Wan Kenobi to Bat-Man, and try to guess the fate of Janus Kasmir, friend of Kanan Jarrus. Also, we discuss the hobbies of Emperor Palpatine, and Allen and I try to prove ourselves to the gentlemen.
Just a note, Skype was not cooperating with us when we recorded. So, you willfind a few passages with a bit of static or something that sounds like wind. Our apologize for the issue, but please note that these moments do not last long. Thank you.
