On 4th May 1799, the British forces defeated the famed king of Mysore in a battle, largely owing to the king's chief minister betraying him. Après 70 ans de règne, la Reine Elizabeth II est morte jeudi dernier dans sa résidence écossaise de Balmoral, à l'âge de 96 ans. Immédiatement, l'émotion gagne tout le Royaume-Uni et les témoignages de sympathie affluent du monde entier. Dès l'annonce de ce décès, la rédaction de BFMTV se mobilise, et plusieurs reporters sautent dans le premier Eurostar pour gagner au plus vite la capitale britannique. Ashley Chevalier se trouve à Buckingham Palace en début de soirée, jeudi, Clémence Dibout arrive à Balmoral (nord de l'Ecosse) dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi. Tandis que la correspondante de BFMTV à Londres Laura Kalmus enchaîne les directs. Dans cet épisode, récit à trois voix de ce moment historique et de cet évènement, la mort de la Reine, d'une portée planétaire.
