*FILMS DISCUSSED: THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, COLOSSAL, POWER RANGERS, STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI, DETROIT, THE FOUNDER, PUNCHING HENRY* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Troy Conrad into ATC studios. Troy talks about his unique show, Set List. Graham and Chris loved the dumb fun of Fast 8. Chris finally saw Power Rangers and found it to be all over the place. Troy didn't like Colossal until the end. Everyone is pumped for some Last Jedi. Detroit appears to be another solid film from Kathryn Bigelow. Punching Henry rounds out a good DVD list which makes the awful new releases not sting so much. This episode will have you realize that it's all about family...14 times.

They talk about their graphic novel Trent. Graham found T2 to be just ok. Leah and Dino liked the Iggy Pop documentary, Gimme Danger. Chris was pleased with indie film, I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore. Graham was the only one scared by the It trailer. Everyone is excited for new Planet of The Apes film. Rouge One is the only DVD to concern yourself with. A colossal blue style jesus is opening in theaters. The ultimate Bergman episode.

Chris was surprised by The Jungle Book. Geoff had fun watching Criminal. Graham was glad he saw Demolition. Geoff is more excited by Magnificent Seven trailer than Chris and Graham. All three are unsure about new X-Men trailer. Odd choices on DVD. Some hilarious posts on Chris' Kickstarter and a funny movie about a cat in theaters. This episode is all about nuance.

A perfect episode to calm your nerd rage or have a pointless dream sequence.

Shane and Chris found the Crouching Tiger sequel to be silly. Shane talks about his favorite Christopher Nolan films. Many Oscar films on DVD and some weird choices in theaters. Graham and Chris both disliked Brooklyn. All three liked Kung Fu Panda 3 as well as Marc and Chris' kids. Marc talks about the current state and future of comic book movies. A lot of questions for new DVDs. Caesar and some typical February releases. This ep will make you bite the hand that feeds you. 

*FILMS DISCUSSED: THE DANISH GIRL, ANOMOLISA, BIG SHORT, OBVIOUS CHILD* Chris and Graham welcome back podcaster Alison Rosen. Graham is disappointed with Danish Girl and the Oscars. Chris was intrigued by Anomolisa. Alison found The Big Short to be informative. Alison also talks about her favorite rom-coms and some guilty pleasures. Two good DVDs and more reason to see films that should have been nominated in theaters this weekend. This ep will make you want to have puppet sex. 

Two years ago DSU did a podcast called "Life as Art." In this episode we explored the philosophical foundations and implications of thinking about our identities as works of art. The response to the episode was so overwhelming that we decided to turn the "Life as Art" theme into a series. Each month we will interview individuals who are putting the ideas we discussed in the episode to work. For our inaugural episode, we interview Graham Elwood, a comedian and documentary film maker who pioneered the podcast field for comedians and who has recently released a documentary film about the power of podcasts to enable individual artists to carve out their own aesthetic and professional paths.

This ep will make you climb a fake mountain while eating a salad.
