*FILMS DISCUSSED: SHARKNADO 3, THE MARTIAL ARTS KID, THE VISIT, WHITEY, BLOOD SUCKING BASTARDS* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Erin Foley into the weight bench garage. Graham loved Sharknado 3 and seeing himself on the big screen in Martial Arts Kid. Erin was surprisngly entertained by The Visit. Chris loved the low budget fun of Blood Sucking Bastards. Graham recommends the Whitey Bulger doc. Erin talks about her favorite sports films. Good DVDs to choose from. Some Oscar films are creeping back into movie theaters. This ep is will give you a Boston accent. 

BONUS EP!! Filmmaker Adam Rifkin comes into the Nerd HQ to discuss cult films.  Adam tells us what films influnced him and why. Also Adam talks about his new films Shooting the Warwicks and Director's Cut.  This ep will make you want to become a small soldier and fight in an army of darkness.  

*FILMS DISCUSSED: THE GIFT, MAN FROM UNCLE, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE* Chris and Graham welcome back Stefanie Wilder-Taylor. Stefanie and Graham both found some problems with The Gift even though it has good perfromances. Graham thought UNCLE was a borning bag of bad accents. Chris didn't care for Rogue Nation. Stefanie tells us what kids movies she liked this year.  One good DVD and two stupid ones. New releases are useless.  This ep will make you want to get a nice mid shoe.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: TOMORROWLAND, THE FORGER, BATTERED BASTARDS OF BASEBALL, JOE* Chris and Graham welcome back comic Gary Brightwell into Nerd HQ.  Chris liked Tomorrowland a little more than Graham.  Gary was disappointed by the Forger. Graham and Gary loved the doc, The Battered Bastards of Baseball. Gary talks about why he likes courtroom dramas and all three learn the difference between a Class and Civil action. Only one good film on DVD and two wildly different looking dissapointments in theaters.  This ep will make you want to start a Family Business.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: EX MACHINA, DANNY COLLINS, ATARI: GAME OVER, MISERY LOVES COMEDY* Chris and Graham welcome back comic/director Kevin Pollak. Graham loved Ex Machina. Kevin loves doing Al Pacino impressions to show how annoying Danny Collins was. Chris enjoyed Atari: Game Over but wanted a little more.  Kevin talks about his new documentary Misery Loves Comedy.  A few good DVD choices and great reasons to buy Kevin's film on itunes because a Mall Cop has invaded your local theater.  This episode is as good as Christopher Walken doing an ad read.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: WOMAN IN GOLD, FURIOUS 7 (AGAIN), TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, A MOST VIOLENT YEAR* Chris and Graham welcome back Chris Gore.  Graham liked Woman in Gold.  Gore talks about his kickstarter to bring back Film Threat, which helped Mancini and Elwood early in their filmmaking careers.  Gore gives good Star Wars intel. Some really good DVDs and then one good film in theaters. This ep will make you want to polish your man face.

VINCENT, LIFE PARTNERS, OBVIOUS CHILD, BIRDMAN* Chris and Graham welcome first time guests and writers of Thrilling Adventure Hour, Ben Acker and Ben Blacker. Graham liked The Drop especially since he got upgraded. Chirs found Video Games:The Movie to be ok. Ben Acker liked St. Vincent. Ben Blacker like Life Partners and Obvious Child.  Then both Bens talk about their podcast and upcoming comic books.  This episode will make you do a spot on Italian accent.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: CALVARY, FRANK, BLUE RUIN, UNDER THE SKIN* Chris and Graham welcome nerd writer David Huntsberger back to the sweaty nerd cave.  Graham enjoyed Calvary even with some slow pacing.  Chris thought Frank missed a little but still good.  David enjoyed Blue Ruin even with some flaws.  David talks about his upcoming comedy special and the origins of #workit.  This ep will be easier on the ears than saying "oil tanker."

*FILMS DISCUSSED: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2, X-MEN, THE ROVER* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest writer Marc Guggenheim.  Marc talks about wrtitng for the TV show Arrow and why he loves comic books.  All three liked How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Graham more than Marc and Chris).  All three liked X-Men.  Chris and Graham both liked The Rover, even though it was slow paced.  Marc tries to defend Transformers...and fails.

*Captain America, 20 Feet From Stardom are discussed*  Chris and Graham welcome radio host and comic Steve Cooper.  Steve talks about his radio show and podcast that interviews showbiz folks.  All three really liked Winter Soldier.  Steve also talked about why he likes documentaries.  Graham found Oscar winner, 20 Feet From Stardom, to be excellent.  Chris is waiting to buy his Hobbit DVD collector set.  The new films in theaters this week will make you want to see Catain America a 2nd and 3rd time.  Listen for your life!

*FILMS DISCUSSED: MUPPETS, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL* Chris and Graham welcome back writer/podcaster David Feldman.  Chris and his kids really liked The Muppets: Most Wanted.  Graham is a fan of Wes Anderson's new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.  David talks about writing for the Canadian and American Oscars.  Ok DVD's this week and then THE RAID 2 in theaters!!! *ROBOCOP, ABOUT LAST NIGHT AND DALLAS BUYER'S CLUB ARE DISCUSSED* Chris and Graham welcome Christine Blackburn intot hte nerd HQ.  Christine talks about her podcast, Story Worthy.  Graham was sleeping through some of Robo Cop.  Christine liked About Last Night.  Chris liked the performances in Dallas Buyers Club, even though he had some problems with the story structure.  It's the perfect epidoe for your Earbuds!
