On our latest podcast we are sharing our journey of starting in the breeding industry to running and owing our an equine retreat center.

We don't always see the journey to get the final outcome, when people find us now, there is sometimes a comparision of looking at what we have with our herd and our center and feeling like this is what we need in order to do this work.

The truth is, it took us 10 years since we found the path of EAL to get to here, and sometimes we need to be reminded of the journey to get to where we envision ourselves wanting to be.

We hope today's episode proves as an inspiration and encouragement that wherever you find yourselves on the journey in your EAL practice, it is enough.

We were inspired to record our latest podcast from our lead gelding Chief to share some stories of horses of ours in how they found their way to us and to empower the perspective of horses being able to choose their journey and path in life and with us.

Our horses can be consciously manifest their journey, choosing their connection to us and being part of what we choose to do in our partnership with them.

In this podcast I share a few stories of the horses in our herd in their unique and individual paths to us and this journey we walk with them.

We answer the question, do horses choos their path with us? 

And...

How do we empower and witness this choosing and trust it.

On our latest podcast episode we are joined by Claire Martin of Hara Horses as she shares about her journey with her mare Inca, and how this powerful mare lead her onto her path of equine facilitated learning and back into the world of horses.

Claire goes deep into her journey with horses, the path that she started on, how she ended up in equine guided facilitation and the wisdom her mare Inca has given her along the way.

Our latest podcast episode is a deepening into a question we have been asked a few times this past year which is, what happens when our clients have a fear of horses?

On our latest podcast episode we are sharing some examples of how do we speak about this work with horses?

A question we are often asked is around how do we translate this purpose with horses into language that our clients and others will understand.

We give examples of how to speak this language to non horse people and how to find the language and messaging to use that will connect and land with those that we are hoping to reach in this work.

When we understand how to speak this language to those that we are trying to work with, we feel more confident and have greater success in filling our spaces with clients that we are wanting to fill our practice with.

On our latest podcast episode we are speaking about what we feel is one of the most essential facilitation and leadership skills to develop and that is reading the space.

Horses are master space readers, as facilitators we learn and can be lead by how horses read space to develop our ability to do so.

In this podcast we break down what does it mean to read the space, why it is an essential facilitation skill and how we can start developing that muscle to become a more masterful facilitator. 

On our latest podcast we are diving into how to intrepret and find value in the space of the simplicity of being with horses.

What happens when we walk out to the fields and they are doing nothing? How do we interpet that space and find the medicine in that.

We speak about how we can interpret back to grazing and find the wisdom in it and feel confident in bringing others in the space when we witness it.

Delaya's own spiritual journey and connection to horses lead her to uncover the agreements and connection we have with our horse partners and how to honor their role in our spiritual paths and discoveries.

Delaya shares with us how we recognize or know the soul agreements we have with our horse partners and how to honor them.  This is a really fascinating and integral conversation and revealing of the layers in which we can witness and be present to the relationship with have with the horses in our lives.

On our latest podcast horse medicine leadership found Hillary and faculty member Angela talk about how we can honor our horses as teachers.

When we witness and acknowlege our horses as teachers, we can more deeply respect and honor their role in our lives and also hold them as the gifts that they are.

We share in the podcast some examples of how we hold our horses as teachers and how we can recognize what they teach us. 

This is a look back at where I started with horses and the balance of trying to be involved with them while having a creative career. Ultimately everything began to blend together into and this episode dives a bit into that journey. I also look at how partnering with them in personal development came to be and why I hold the philosophy I do around the way I choose to share that space with them. I hope this shines some light on why partnering with horses is so important to me and how much they have helped me on my own personal journey. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
