Destination: Bahamas with Cory and Bernika Bassett

This time, Deborah Howell shares the mic with two beautiful women who know something about the Bahamas!  Cory Bassett is the Business Manager of Entercom Los Angeles and is of Bahamian descent.  Her lovely daughter, Bernika, was crowned "Miss Bahamas" in 2010-2011 and went on to compete in the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. She traveled the world as an ambassador, but always left her heart in the Bahamas. Bernika and Cory share their insights about their beloved islands and give us plenty of reasons to visit there on our next vacation, reminding us that what the Bahamas need most right now to recover is for tourism to thrive. Conk salad, fresh fish, turquoise waters and a lovely welcoming people await you!
