महान ऋषि वाल्मीकि पहले एक दकैत और शिकारी हुआ करते थे। जब ऋषि नारद ने उन्हें राम का नाम लेने की सलाह दी तो वह राम कह भी नहीं सकते थे। मारा मारा मारा को दोहराते थे क्यूंकि वह सिर्फ मरना जानते थे। पर मारामारामारा दोहराते दोहराते रामा बन गया और इस ही के अभ्यास ने उन्हें विद्वान बना दिया। जब राम ने खुद, लव और कुश से रामायण की कहानी सुनी तो उन्हें लगा कि जो भी यह कहानी सुनेगा उसके मन में एक पॉजिटिविटी आ जाएगी है। उसके जीवन को एक दिशा मिलेगी है। राम ने ये तक कहा कि उनका खुदका जीवन भी सुभ और मंगलमय हो गया। इसलिए तो कहते हैं राम से बड़ा राम का नाम या राम की कथा यानि रामायण। पर क्या आज के इस युग में हमें श्रीराम जैसी मर्यादा और सिद्धांत रखने चाहिए? क्या हमें इनकी ज़रुरत है? और अगर है तो क्यों और कैसे? ये समझने के लिए tune in.
