    Christmas Special

    THE TIME HAS COME
It's the final episode of the year for us here at hello hello, and what better way to bring in the New Year than to look back at the year that was, as for todays episode we decided to take a look at all the games we've come to love from the past year.
We also challenged ourselves to pick just oneeee topic that we each covered this year to pick as our favourite one (which is honestly harder than it seems).
Finally, we also go HARD on some spoilers to wrap up the final Marvel re-cap of the year, where we give our thoughts on both Hawkeye episode 5 AND Spider-Man: No Way Home (big, BIG spoilers here so you've been warned)

Thank you so much to all the viewers and listeners for sticking around this past year, this has been a blast!

We'll see you all in the new year <3

    Season One Finale

    Season One Finale

Can you even believe we have officially reached the end of season one for Breakdown to Breakthrough?

In this season finale episode, Gabby and Krystal take a look back at the wild ride that was the first chapter of the podcast. What worked, what didn’t, what moments stood out to them, things they have never talked about before from producing the show and the ways that YOU helped THEM grow by connecting with the show.

We’ll step out of third-person here just to say a thank you to anyone who listened to the podcast this season. Whether you raved about it on socials, gave us a rating on Apple Podcasts or only listened to a single episode -
thank you. We have loved every second of hearing how BDBT aligned with where you are in your life, and the hurdles you have cleared to get to this point. You all are such badasses and we’re grateful you exist.

    There is
so much in store for next season (and maybe even some things coming sooner…) and we cannot wait to share with you all what we have in the works! More guests, more insights from listeners, and plenty of more laughs. Talk to you soon!

The last Climate 21 episode of 2020

Quick announcement - to help serve you the podcast audience better I have created a chat room on my TomRaftery.com website. Just go to TomRaftery.com/climate and there you can leave ideas for topics for upcoming podcasts, speaker suggestions, feedback on episodes, or create your own topic for people to chat about

    3 back episodes including:

    • The inaugural episode with SAP Executive Board member Thomas Saueressig where he introduced SAP’s Climate 21 initiative, after which this podcast is named (btw, climate21.org)
    • Episode 2 featured Shell Executive Committee member, and director of their Downstream business Huibert Vigeveno where we discussed Shell’s plans to decarbonise. As one of the world’s largest emitters, I felt it was important to have a rep from Shell on the podcast. In future episodes I hope to also talk to senior executives from other companies in this space
    • Episode 3 featured Microsoft’s Chief Environmental Officer Lucas Joppa, and if you’ve not already listened to this episode, I urge you to do so. It was excellent to hear from Lucas all of the initiatives Microsoft are undertaking to go carbon negative, and suck from the atmosphere all the emissions their business has been responsible for since they first started operations in 1975

This may be the end of 2020, but it is not the end of the podcast obviously, I’ll be back again in January with some great new episodes such as:

    • Paul O’Connor EVP Head of EMEA ESG Debt Capital Markets at JP Morgan talking about how the investment markets are rapidly moving money away from carbon intensive assets
    • Prof Stephanie Bertels, Director, Centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability SFU Beedie School of Business / Founder, Embedding Project
    • Auke Hoekstra - Program Director NEON research at Eindhoven University of Technology — leads a team of 35 PhD researchers investigating power grids, and the electrification of transportation - he’s also debunker-in-chief of ICE FUD on Twitter!
    • Rodi Basso - CEO of the E1 Series and
    • Mark Miller - Mark was involved in the creation of the CARB and EU ETS Emissions trading platforms
    • And more

    2020 news

Bad year? Well some good news this year too which may have been overshadowed by the pandemic 24x7 new coverage

This episode carries a lot; from a 10-year old heroine to pregnant nuns to KFC proposals and checking hymens, there's a lot to fit into this episode. it doesn't help that it's the last of its series (for now) but it makes sure it goes with a series bang!

Season 2 Wrap-Up with Ashley and Catherine!

Just like Season 1, Season 2 comes to a conclusion with interviews with the 4 co-founders of The Neighboring Movement: Catherine & Matthew Johnson and Ashley and Adam Barlow-Thompson. It is a joyful reflection on the second season and a glimpse into season 3. With plenty of burns along the way! Ashley and Catherine have listened closely to every episode, so their insights and additional stories form a perfect review of the season.

AOD 013: The Art Of Experience – "Unskilled and Unaware" (The 4 Levels of Competence)

AOD 013: The Art Of Experience – "Unskilled and Unaware" (The 4 Levels of Competence)

Arguably even more of a rush than starting brand new journey, very few things beat the moment when it all clicks – when we finally get our heads around the fundamentals of a new skill.  What may have once seemed like a seamless box is slowly opening its hatch, inch-by-inch giving you a peek into its inner-workings.  The full revelation can often take a while, however.. so whether it be impatience, enthusiasm or a fear of an overwhelming unknown, a lot of us are quick to claim mastery over new skills long before we've given ourselves enough chance to explore their depths.  Mastery is both modular and fluid; we'll become fluent in some parts of a craft long before other areas but the story, but the chapters are all the same.  Time, patience and consistency are the constants that are sure to keep us moving toward the creatives we'd like to be; for the final episode of this season, XV takes a look at the four stages of competence, reminiscing on how each stage plays out in a creatives journey towards mastering a new skill.

    EP 245 DWG Finale

    EP 245 DWG Finale

A truly nail-biting tale of mental illness, acid flashbacks and altered reality that will keep on the edge of your seat.

After surviving a one-in-a-million stonefish attack in February, international comedy legend and cult figure Brendon Burns, set off on a completely random journey, in pursuit of a Navajo spirit healer deep into Navajo country in Northern Arizona.

A "spiritual vigil" that sends him to the brink of madness and back. Forcing him to face down the demons of his past in a truly hilarious yet brutally honest fashion.

A series so filled with twists and turns that it will keep you guessing from episode to episode. And delivers such a life affirming, tear jerker of a finale that it may well transform you as much as it did the host.

Warning! This is going to sound made up. But that doesn't change the fact that it's still exactly what happened!
