Episode 266: Two Discs: Escaping in the same direction!
E3 might be cancelled, but what happened over the last few days sure feels like E3. We had an Xbox Games Showcase, Ubisoft Forward, Summer Games Fest, Capcom Showcase, and and whole lot more. And boy, how about that Starfield Direct, that is the first time I've been excited for a Bethesda game. Also the Writers strike claims new victims, unsurprisingly, Netflix gets new subscribers, and stick around for a spoiler filled review of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

176: Phone Blasters in DOS Land

Tech news is getting a little too surreal for us lately, so we're taking a brief trip back to a simpler time. This week we go through the very first issue of Boot (later Maximum PC) from 1996, which has everything from Jean-Louis Gassée on the launch of the BeBox to Bill Gates on the x86 PC's murder of SGI, the very first cable modem service, a motorized (?) Panasonic laptop, some shocking secrets about the first Dream Machine and the letters section, the Will Smith byline that almost was, and a bunch more.

Read along at home with Boot issue #1: https://archive.org/details/boot-magazine-vol01-issue01-sept-1996

    Art of Rally statt Hades

    Art of Rally statt Hades
Es musste erst Art of Rally her, was trotz der teils größeren Mängel, ihn an der Konsole fesseln konnte.
