    JD TALKIN SPORTS #1181

    JD TALKIN SPORTS #1181

    First primetime game of #nfl season for @nyjets and they dropped a big ole turd.  It was ugly and the better team won the @jaguars who control their #playoff destiny.  I agree with @williecolon66 no sense of urgency & body language by Jets was not a team in a must win game. 66 yards and 3 first downs in first half. #zachwilson benched and booed by fans.  Is his time done in NYC?  #robertsaleh says no. Not looking good for Zach.  #chrisstreveler came in and brought instant energy but no points.  #trevorlawrence want affected by the elements.
    #merrychristmas to all those celebrating.  #hanukkah is almost done.
    @lakers will #anthonydavis ever be healthy?
    @brooklynnets going for 8th straight win vs @bucks in #brooklyn tonight.  @nyrangers beat @ny_islanders last night.  #kappokakko with the GW.
    #nfl & #nba all weekend.  #food & #football what could be better? Nada.

    Talking ball with Brian Baldinger of the NFL Network

    Talking ball with Brian Baldinger of the NFL Network

    Former NFL offensive lineman Brian Baldinger, who played with the Cowboys, Colts, and Eagles from 1982 through 1992, now works with the NFL Network and many other outlets as an analyst these days, and he's one of the best in the business. Baldinger recently spoke with Touchdown Wire's Doug Farrar on a number of subjects, including:

    • His CoachTube series of seminars, in which he covers offensive and defensive line play, receiver techniques, and how to play tight end and fullback;
    • How much he absolutely loved the Patriots' run-centric game plan against the Bills (this tracks; I have never seen so many offensive linemen so excited about a single game in my life);
    • Whether the Eagles should go forward with Jalen Hurts or Gardner Minshew at quarterback; and
    • Why the rest of the NFL had better watch out for the Dolphins.

    As always, talking ball with Baldy is fun and informative, so check it out!

    Quarterback Controversy??

    Quarterback Controversy??
    Tek & Prem discuss the Eagles recent win over the Jets and the performance of Gardner Minshew. Do we have another quarterback controversy in Philly? Jalen Hurts should be ready to go after the bye week. 4 Division games to go, playoff spot is within reach. Sirianni improving as coach overall. Sixers up and down. We welcome Noah Levick from NBC Sports Philadelphia on the VetLine for 'Enter The Center' to talk Sixers. Will they round into form? The Flyers are a disaster. Segments include: Wednesday Afternoon Quarterback, Enter The Center, VetPhact, and Prem's NFL Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

    The Eagles 'Process' Has Begun

    The Eagles 'Process' Has Begun
    Tek & Prem present their 50th episode from the Last Out Media Studio with John Barchard and Vince Quinn [Bell And The Birdmen] co-hosting. The Eagles lose again in convincing fashion. Has their "process" begun? The defense allows Derek Carr to complete over 90%. The offense is sporadic and ineffective most of the day. Jalen Hurts underwhelming. Nick Sirianni in over his head. The Sixers start 2-1 and have beaten no one. Collapse vs Brooklyn. Flyers are more of the same. Segments include: Enter The Center, VetPhact, Numbers Don't Lie, & Prem's NFL Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

    The Ben Simmons Saga Continues

    The Ben Simmons Saga Continues
    Tek & Prem welcome two guests on the VetLine: 94WIP On-Air Host Tom Kelly, & Chip from Chips and Dish, to talk Eagles and Sixers. Ben Simmons returns to Philly and is immediately detrimental to the team. Doc Rivers removes him from practice. He does not speak to the media as promised. Joel Embiid does not want to babysit and instead is focusing on the guys who want to be here. Season starts tonight in New Orleans. Eagles lose another game and look poor in doing so. Nick Sirianni's system referred to as a 'high school' offense in the media. A road tilt versus the Las Vegas Raiders is on the horizon. Jalen Hurts progression and regression. The defense needs help, fast. Flyers continue same useless goalie shuffle after their first win. Segments include: Wednesday Afternoon Quarterback, Enter The Center, Numbers Don't Lie, VetLine, and Prem's NFL Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

    The 53 Is Set

    The 53 Is Set
    Tek & Prem announce a partnership with Bell & The Birdmen, John Barchard & Vince Quinn, for every Eagles game broadcast from Villa Capri in Doylestown. Kevin Kinkead of Crossing Broad joins the VetLine to talk Birds & the Ben Simmons debacle. Reactions to the final 53-man roster for the Birds. Defensive line again the team strength. Acquisition of Gardner Minshew solidifies QB depth for very little given up. NFL Week 1 less than 2 weeks away. History of last 11 Super Bowl Champions Preseason performances. Ben Simmons is a textbook diva. Segments include: VetLine, Numbers Don't Lie, and Prem's MLB Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)
