AI, or artificial intelligence, is a top of mind subject nowadays. The Creator tells the story of a war between humans and AI in the future. Also, it’s about how one man, Joshua, who’s sent to spy on and destroy AI finds himself conflicted. Why? Because the ultimate AI weapon is a 6 year old little girl AI robot. After discovering that he just can’t bring himself to kill her, they go on a journey with the military and AI forces all hunting them down. This is directed by Gareth Edwards who also directed the 2014 Godzilla movie and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Check out my spoiler-free review to see if it’s worth watching at the theater. The Creator stars John David Washington, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Amar Chadha-Patel, Marc Menchaca, Robbie Tann, Ralph Ineson, Michael Esper, Veronica Ngo, Ian Verdun, Daniel Ray Rodriguez.

British director Gareth Edwards talks about his futurist sci-fi blockbuster The Creator; plus, a moving Australian-Iranian film produced by Cate Blanchett.
A movie where two people in love must try and remain together even with money and family getting in the way. Kyle just tries to be respectful. Dave tries to keep from walking out of the room. The Machine is disappointed that it's not flood-a-church rich.

Dont Worry Darling had a stacked cast and an interesting plot so where did it go wrong? This was a simple case of the drama was more interesting than the movie. It had so much potential but was wasted before it could even begin. Can we fix it? Listen in and tell us what you think.

Welcome to Screen Tea Podcast! This week, your hosts are getting down and dirty with all of the drama (on and off camera) around Olivia Wilde's sophomore feature length film, Don't Worry Darling! Making a joke about 'strapping in' feels wrong here, so relax (perhaps with a martini?) and listen to the dulcet tones of Lisha tearing apart so, so many plotholes, Jules getting...confused, and both of your hosts giving love where love is due (mainly to the dazzling, spectacular cast and cinematography!). There are a lot of ups and down, hilarity ensues as everything falls apart, and there's some real, heavy Harry Styles discourse happening here folks, so come join us in Victory, darlings, and have a ball!

We promise not to spend the entire episode talking about the behind-the-scenes hot goss, but when it comes to our latest installment of Spooky Tuesday, it really is all about the drama. This week, we’re featuring Don’t Worry Darling (2022), and we’re covering everything from Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine to Olivia Wilde promising the film focused on female pleasure. Don’t worry, though, darling — we’re also getting deep into the flick’s actual themes and our ideas about how we’re going to remake it as a prestige TV drama in about five year’s time.
