Even when life is full of school, work, sports, clubs, and other scheduled activities we feel the demand to entertain our kids when they are in the house. It is so hard to make our kids sit in their own boredom, to challenge them to entertain themselves.
We call it being the Cruise Director.
And, COVID quarantine has only made these demands even harder. We wrestle--mostly giggle, really--through this on this week's episode. We also spend some time talking about the power of a glue gun in the right hands, how we are not the right people for at-home crafts, and how quarantine is exhausting (even though we aren't going anywhere).
The Stat of the Week is less of a stat and more of a analysis of prescription drug commercials. We have a few thoughts on the weird commonalities among the various ads: boats / beaches, seamless time with the grandkids, and cover songs (Naughty by Nature, really?!?).
