Everyone is way too chill for a hospital that is supposed to be that short staffed. Especially Webber, he is the most chill. 
We talk about how we got quite confused by a few story lines like who is the Amelia look-a-like and what is the questionable smell in Baileys office all about?
Meredith doesn't do any work today, Nick really steps up, Bailey has the pressure of all woman kind on her shoulders, Webber is the bad housemate, Jo  and Link get to air all their grievances and Catherine wears a hot orange dress.

What was it about this episode that made us ugly cry so hard?

It is the beginning of a new year at Seattle Grace and we have one one resolution - Derek can go straight into the dumpster fire.  This lesson is Gaslighting 101 and we have to apologise to Addison, from our younger selves, for not seeing how awfully she was being treated. This episode is all about Denial.  Christina and Mare denying that an 80 hour work week is enough,  Weber Denying the nurses their basic rights and Ayla Denying that she has to deal with Denny coming into our lives again.  George doesn't let his patient's parents deny them the truth and Tamzen fights denying their parents aren't that bad.  Bailey is in denial about her pregnancy getting the better of her. None is denying the dog has to go.

Deck the halls with scalpels and sadness.
