God has caused us to be known by his name. When we have entered into that new covenant, we have become by him a new creation. And we are known as a new people, a people of the kingdom, a people that he has placed His spirit within. And he has promised never to withdrawal that spirit, never to leave us nor forsake us and to work in our life to begin, and to complete his work in our life, that we might be in the end, His pleasing people. Leviticus Chapter 6 Part 1

We want to be people that are reconciled, not only to God, but as we've talked about, to His will. And we see that one of the purposes of the tabernacle and therefore also the temple is for us to be reconciled through being individuals that respond to the conviction of God in our life today as believers, the conviction of the Holy Spirit, that we might experience the fact as God sees us that we are oftentimes guilty before him, and that we might be moved to seek forgiveness, and to do retribution, meaning to pay the price of our offenses to others. Leviticus 7-8 Our Position As Priests In Christ Jesus

As we continue our study in Leviticus this week, we will wrap up the detailed overview of the offering procedures which were conducted by the priests. We then will see the narrative of Moses and the Israelites progress a little bit, with the consecration ceremony of Aaron and his sons into the priesthood. A lot of what we will be learning about within today's podcast pertains to both Christ as OUR high priest, and also our position as priests in service to God Almighty. We will also learn many other things, including how offering up prayers of thanksgiving, can help us to combat fear and anxiety. Hope you enjoy today's podcast teaching!

Leviticus 5-6 Swearing Oaths, and Neighborly Conduct

In today's episode, we will be covering Leviticus chapters five and six-- learning about many interesting things pertaining to the tabernacle offerings. We will cover examples of situations that required a sin offering to take place. We will then learn about the guilt offering and its similarities with the sin offering, and then also its uniqueness. What is most exciting, is the many life applications that we will discover while moving through this rather difficult book of the Bible. Praying that you are blessed by today's teaching!
