In this episode of Personally Speaking, Msgr. Jim Lisante is joined by Fox News Channel’s veteran war correspondent Benjamin Hall. In February, 2022 when Russia viciously attacked Ukraine, Ben volunteered to go there, and was catastrophically wounded when his crew was struck by incoming fire which killed his colleagues. Ben credits a miracle that enabled him to survive which he writes about in his new book, “Saved”.  He talks about how he was saved, continuing his recovery, his family, his faith, and the optimistic nature he says he’s blessed to have.

On July 24, 1847, a company of early Latter-day Saint pioneers piloted their way into the Salt Lake Valley. The leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brigham Young looked upon the valley and was said to declare, “This is the right place; drive on.” These early pioneers were joined by Latter-day Saints from around the world. Near the location where Brigham Young gave this prophetic declaration now stands “This Is The Place Heritage Park,” a Utah state park populated with historical homes, dedicated monuments and interactive exhibits to help individuals and families explore the early history of the Salt Lake Valley. On this episode, I will give you guys my thoughts on the Trump CNN town hall. From bringing his printed out Tweet receipts featuring his non-aggressive/violent comments on January 6th (he kept calling for everyone to be peaceful and respect law enforcement) to hitting back, so smartly and sharply, to every "gotcha" thing that the young, very well unknown moderator kept asking him -- he did an amazing job. The best part to me was how he said the Ukraine/Russia war wouldn't even be happening if he were in office, and if he gets back in, he will have the war ended (with a deal made between Zelenskyy and Putin) within 24 hours. Trump is back and better than ever, and I think far more people than just the "MAGA" crowd will be jumping onboard and supporting him now. Mainly because no one can even envision Biden being POTUS anymore. But Trump's still got it, and the mainstream media is quaking in their suits.
