Om dat nog wat eenvoudiger te maken kan dat ook met low-code. SAP heeft nu met SAP Build een suite in huis met drie verschillende oplossingen die het bouwen van apps en workflows nog eenvoudiger moeten maken. Wij gaan in gesprek met Coen Sanderink om te horen wat men van SAP Build mag verwachten.

Wie kent SAP niet? SAP staat in de markt bekend als die ene grote ERP-speler. Voorheen SAP ECC, tegenwoordig SAP S4HANA. Daarnaast heeft SAP nog veel meer oplossingen, denk aan SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP CRM en SuccesFactors. We bespreken onder meer hoe al die oplossingen een rol spelen in SAP Build. Ook zijn we benieuwd hoe de relatie met Mendix is. Mendix is een grote low-code speler waar SAP al jaren intensief mee samenwerkt, maar nu dus mee gaat concurreren. Of toch niet?

Natuurlijk gaan we ook dieper in op de drie afzonderlijke oplossingen en voelen we Coen aan de tand hoe volwassen SAP al is in low-code en wat voor klanten de beste keuzes zijn.

Povídali jsem si o jejím cyklu obrazů Nebeský Jeruzalém, její nejnovější tvorbě v Praze a také o Carlosi Castanedovi. Řeč přišla i na kabalu. Uslyšíme, jaké v ní lze najít zkomoleniny způsobené nepřesnými překlady evropských duchovních badatelů, kteří neovládali hebrejštinu. Kabala není jen magie. Uslyšíme také, jak kabalistická praxe ovlivnila Hanin život.

Hana dosahuje změněných stavů vědomí skrze vlastní umění. Co je to posthumanismus a jaké může mít duchovní prvky? Uslyšíme o souvislosti s magií a ritualitou. Její zájmy leží i v aktivismu, dává důraz na hravou postmodernitu, ekologická témata a překročení antropocentrického pohledu na život.

Chtěl bych se omluvit za občasný podivný statický šum na pozadí rozhovoru. Vypadá to, že některý z našich mobilních telefonů byl během rozhovoru příliš aktivní velmi blízko rekordéru. Jinak si to neumím vysvětlit. Tato závada se mi stala za celou dobu poprvé. Budu na to dávat větší pozor.

Topic 1 - Welcome to the show. The world of SAP has evolved quite a bit over the last decade. Tell us about your background and what led you to focus on bringing SAP to the cloud.

Topic 2 - A decade ago, SAP was very focused on this new HANA database and most people still thought of them as an ERP company. Since then, they have bought a lot of companies, especially in the SaaS space (SuccessFactors, Concur, Hipmonk, Qualtrics, etc.). Can you give us a high-level overview of what relationship SAP has with their customers these days?

Topic 3 - Lemongrass is focused on helping customers move SAP to the AWS Cloud. What types of applications are being moved, and why are customers moving them?

Topic 4 -  Lemongrass talks about 5 Waves of Innovations to get SAP into AWS (Migrate, FinOps/SysOps/DevOps, 4/HANA, Big Data, AI). Where are most customers on that journey today? Does it tend to be consistent across industries? 

Topic 5 - AWS often talks about a “shared responsibility model” for application-availability or security. How does that model apply to SAP applications, and what role does Lemongrass play for customers on an on-going basis?

Topic 6 - Have you seen the pandemic change how companies are looking at their SAP environments and whether or not it makes them do more in the cloud?
