Stop striving. Let God change you.

These probably well-intentioned words hurt and frustrated me so often through the years!

If I knew how to let God change me don't you think I would have already?!
If it was His job to change me and I wasn't changing clearly I was beyond help.

This podcast is not another "Let Go & Let God" message.

I'm finally learning to let God change me by learning to receive His love. Yes, I had to learn that too. 

He is for you. I am for you.

Surrendering to the fact that we are not in control is one of the keys to our freedom and the healing of our minds.  We may not always understand.  I ask God for clarity all the time.  We may not like what is happening. That's ok, too.  But I know this... there is something much bigger at play here and it wants to give us what we want.  Which in the end, is the fullest expression of our lives.  And in order to have the fullest expression, we must have a lot of experiences... some brutal and some absolutely fantastic.
