Kaleidoscope Preview (And Why Perspective Matters)

Kaleidoscope Preview (And Why Perspective Matters)
Today’s episode is a little different. Sam is really excited about the new Netflix show Kaleidoscope starring Ginacarlo Esposito. He'll explain why!

We’ve gotten the chance to watch a couple of episodes of Kaleidoscope since our recording a couple of days ago. So far, it’s really good. We started with the first episode listed in the season and then decided to change it up and pick another randomly. We we’re a little floored by how well they worked together. It was almost like the second episode we watched perfectly answered the questions we had from the first we watched. It was a little creepy. I’m sure we’ll watch another episode as soon as we can.

    Ocean's Eleven (1960)

The original Rat Pack defined cool. Drinking, smoking, using women as playthings what’s not to like? Kristian Reimer doesn’t advocate any of that when he visits to talk about 1960’s Ocean’s Eleven. He does, however, think they were pretty sharp dressers. And this while Jimmy is sitting there wearing his best t-shirt!

Join us as we break down Boston accents, community gardens, capable FBI agents, horribly named children, Boston's Diet Washington Monument, heist fashion, Affleck's chin dimple, using funny voices during a heist, laudromats, celebrity wedding officiants, bad dad casting and of course, what would be the best flavour of road soda? All that plus Fun Facts and Tenzie awards!

    167 - Takers (w/ Mike Paris)

"Just because he looks stupid and is a bad actor, it doesn't mean his character didn't perform when the situation called for it"

Apparently this movie came out, in theatres, made money and definitely exists. We still have our doubts. Listen as jBow and J9 are joined by special guest host Mike Paris (@thatmikeparis). Listen as we guess the plot using only the poster for reference, give someone the nickname Onyx, break down Hayden Christiensen's stupid hat, Chris Brown being a shit person, Matt Dillon's acting, heist teams, Oxymilk, Neon Lady, Daisy Chain and other fictional drugs. All that plus Fun Facts and Tenzies!

    (NEXT EPISODE: Resident Evil: Afterlife)
