It's been since our Christmas special back in December 2013 that you've heard from us, and we feel just horrible. But fear not, we're making plans to return with an all new season of shows this coming Fall! This special Swish Extra features our all-time favorite and most loyal guest, the one-and-only international parody queen herself, Miss Sherry Vine. The much anticipated debut of the second season on her HereTV variety show, "She's Living for This" drops today, Friday, May 31, so we caught up with Sherry to find out what we can expect from the new batch of shows, why she loves merry ol' England, and much more. Always a hoot--and dirty, dirty, dirty--we're thrilled to count this remarkable entertainer as one of our great friends. Features Sherry's brand new parody of "Thift Shop," too, now called, "Ho Shop," naturally.

It's the gender bending episode to top all gender bending episodes, y'all. We've got New York City nightclub performer and comedian Marti Gould Cummings; the return of Sherry Vine & Josh Rosenzweig from Here TV; and, actor and director Christopher Logan up in here, up in here.

First up, Marti Gould Cummings drops by to tell us about how he went from his family's Maryland farm to take New York City by storm, befriending the city's Broadway and nightlife entertainers and quickly transforming himself into a unique, gender bending cabaret performer and comedian. He hosts four shows a week, has his own series of web shows, and despite being insanely busy, finds time for activism and he's calling out to his generation to wrap it up before you hit the kitty. You'll just have to listen to hear how that came to be. It's scandalous! Hear Marti at the 20:00 minute mark.

Then, we've got the return of our most-frequent Swish guest, the international phenomenon that is Miss Sherry Vine along with her HereTV boss and best friend Josh Rosenzweig. It's always a party when we get together with our old friends after one of Sherry's shows (she was performing at DC's Level One/Cobalt last Friday night) and together we talked about Sherry's newest parody's, originals, and her touring schedule, the return of her television variety show, She's Living for This, what's new at the all-gay network, and much more. After that, Scott chats with actor and director Christopher Logan. Known best for his role as Patty Melt in the cult classic movie Connie & Carla, Christopher has starred in tons of films and television shows and now he's produced an amazing coffee table book called, dr.a.g., featuring amazing photographs of drag queens from New York to Las Vegas to the queens of RuPaul's Drag Race (including Sherry Vine, too!). This week, we welcome Metro Weekly magazine publisher/editor Randy Shulman to the studio. A longtime movie reviewer, he brings along his picks for this weekend's Academy Awards. And he's as confused as we all are with many of this year's nominations. For one, Melissa McCarthy for Bridesmaids, asking, "...she's been nominated for pooping in a sink?"

Then, we've got our very good friend Sherry Vine via Skype. We catch up with her about her upcoming big weekend: Her television variety show She's Living For This premieres on hereTV this Friday, February 24 and she celebrates her 20th anniversary as Sherry at NYC's Barracuda this Sunday, February 26. We can never get enough of our global parody queen...and we have her latest song that she recorded with the great Pandora Boxx, a parody of Madonna's Give Me All Your Love, now called, Give Me All Your Muff...of course. Sherry kicks in at the 1:10:50 mark.

We also welcome Justin Luke, our Gay on the Ground in New York City, back for a second week in a row! Live from the streets of Hell's Kitchen, he chats with B Magazine publisher Peter Ian Cummings. He talks about the magazine's 18-35 year old demographic, standing up for peoples' rights to express their sexuality, how he thinks gay people are fundamentally different than straight people (it's not just who we sleep with, he says), his thoughts on the mainstream press and their coverage of the gays, his rant against smoking and drinking, and much more. It's a fun, slightly controversial conversation we think you'll dig. Justin and Peter start at the 1:26:35 mark.
