    In this episode, we talked with  Women’s Golf head coach, Tayo Bailey-Duvall ;

    Bailey-Duvall enters her fourth season at the helm of the Blue Raider Women’s Tennis program for the 2021 season. Bailey-Duvall became the 11th head coach in Middle Tennessee women's tennis history following her six-year tenure at Butler.

    During her time as the leader of the Bulldogs, Bailey-Duvall's team won a Big East Tournament match in four of her five seasons. Additionally, the tennis program earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards every year of Bailey-Duvall's time as head coach, which honors teams for ranking in the top 10% of their sport based on their multiyear Academic Progress Rates.

    In this episode, we talked with  Women’s Golf head coach, Shannon O'Brien;

    Welcome to the podcast featuring Shannon O'Brien, the Women's Golf Head Coach at Lipscomb University. In this podcast, we will be discussing all things related to women's golf, from training and practice techniques to the mental aspects of the game.
    Coach O’Brien begins her eleventh year at Lipscomb and her second season as an assistant coach of the women's golf program. She spent nine years on staff with the Lipscomb women’s soccer team with her husband, Kevin O’Brien, the head women’s soccer coach. Shannon was an assistant coach and primarily was responsible for developing the goalkeepers and helping with the program operations. In her time with women’s soccer, they won 6 ASUN championships and as a staff, they received the United Soccer Coaches Southeast Regional Staff of the Year award in 2018, after finishing in the top 32 schools competing in the NCAA tournament. In her tenure, three goalkeepers have earned ASUN standout achievements, including 4 ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year awards and an ASUN Tournament MVP award. Additionally, two of the goalkeepers went on to play professionally.

    In this episode, we talked with  Women's Volleyball Head Coach, Matt Kredich;

    Matt Kredich is a highly accomplished swimming coach who has led multiple teams to success at the highest levels of competition. He is currently the head coach of the women's swimming and diving program at the University of Tennessee, where he has established a culture of excellence and has guided the team to numerous national championships and individual titles.

    Before coming to Tennessee, Kredich was the head coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs at the University of Louisville, where he led the teams to six conference championships and helped numerous athletes achieve success on the national and international stage. Kredich has also been involved with USA Swimming, serving as an assistant coach for the U.S. National Team at the 2015 World Championships.

    Kredich is known for his innovative coaching strategies and his ability to develop swimmers to their full potential. He emphasizes a holistic approach to training, incorporating elements such as nutrition, strength training, and mental preparation into his coaching philosophy. Under his leadership, his teams have achieved success both in the pool and in the classroom, with many athletes earning academic honors and achieving personal bests in their performances.

    Kredich is a highly respected coach in the swimming community and has been recognized with numerous coaching awards, including the 2015 USA Swimming Developmental Coach of the Year award. He continues to inspire and mentor his swimmers to achieve their goals and reach their full potential in and out of the pool.

    In this episode, we talked with  Women's Volleyball Head Coach, Donika Sutton;

    Donika Sutton is currently the head coach for the Tennessee State University women's volleyball team. She was named to the position in January 2020, becoming the 11th head coach in program history.

    Prior to joining TSU, Sutton served as the head coach at Eastern Kentucky University for two seasons. During her time there, she led the Colonels to their first Ohio Valley Conference Tournament appearance in five years.

    Coach Sutton led the Tigers to an Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship for the season 22-23 …  first time since 2007, which gave Tennessee State an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

    Sutton has also worked as an assistant coach at several other universities, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the University of Alabama, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

    As a player, Sutton was a standout setter at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned All-Conference USA honors and was named the team's MVP in 2007 and 2008. She went on to play professionally overseas in Spain and Puerto Rico.

    Sutton holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master's degree in sports administration from the University of Alabama.

    In this episode, we talked with Men's Soccer Head Coach - Jamie Clark;

    • Coach Clark began his coaching career in 2004 as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Stanford University. He helped lead the team to four NCAA Tournament appearances and one national championship in 2015.
    • In 2010, Clark became the head coach at Harvard University. During his six-year tenure, he led the team to two Ivy League titles and three NCAA Tournament appearances.
    • In 2016, Clark was hired as the head coach at the University of Washington. In his first season, he led the team to its first-ever Pac-12 championship and a trip to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
    • Since then, Clark has continued to build a strong program at Washington. He has led the team to four NCAA Tournament appearances in six seasons, including two trips to the quarterfinals.
    • Clark has also been involved in coaching at the youth level. He has served as a head coach for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and has worked with the U.S. Youth National Team.
    • In addition to his coaching success, Clark was a standout player in his own right. He was a two-time All-American at Stanford and played professionally in the MLS for the San Jose Earthquakes and New York/New Jersey MetroStars.


    Coach Clark has had a successful coaching career at both the collegiate and youth levels, and he continues to lead the University of Washington men's soccer program to success.

    Coach McCord is the current head coach of the women's lacrosse team at the University of South Florida (USF), a Division I program in Tampa, Florida. She has been in this position since August 2021.

    Prior to joining USF, McCord served as an assistant coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she helped lead the Tar Heels to two national championships in 2016 and 2019. She has also coached at other top Division I programs, including Duke University and the University of Virginia.

    McCord played college lacrosse at Duke University, where she was a standout midfielder and two-time team captain. She earned All-ACC honors twice and was named a Second-Team All-American in 2009.

    As head coach at USF, McCord is responsible for leading the Bulls' women's lacrosse program and overseeing all aspects of the team, including recruiting, game strategy, and player development.

    Baker has a proven track record of success as a coach, with a career record of 282-125-46 as of 2021. He has led his teams to numerous conference championships, NCAA tournament appearances, and national rankings. In 2013, he was named the National Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (now United Soccer Coaches).

    In this episode, we talked with Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Brian Durocher;

    Durocher has won 327 games in 17 seasons as the Terriers' bench boss. The winner of the 2020 Ace Bailey Foundation Good Guy Award, Durocher made history on Jan. 17, 2020, when he became the 15th Division I women's hockey head coach to win 300 games with a 4-1 victory over Holy Cross.

    A 45-year coaching veteran, Durocher has been the head women's coach at BU since the program was elevated to varsity status beginning with the 2005-06 season. No coach has won more Hockey East women's tournament titles than Durocher as he has led BU to five, including four straight from 2012-15. The first two Hockey East teams to reach the NCAA women's championship game were Durocher's 2010-11 and 2012-13 squads.

    In this episode, we talked with Men’s Golf Head Coach J.T. Higgins;

    Hall of Fame golf coach who guided the Texas A&M men's team to an NCAA championship and 17 NCAA appearances during his 19 years there, is in his second season as the head coach of the USC men's golf program. He took over the program on Aug. 14, 2020.

    In his 23-year head coaching career at Texas A&M (2002-20) and New Mexico (1998-2001), he has been named Conference Coach of the Year three times and Region/District Coach of the Year four times. He was inducted into the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame in 2015.

    With Higgins at the helm, Texas A&M captured the 2009 NCAA crown (the program's first-ever in golf, as well as A&M's first in any sport since 1987 and first in a men's sport since 1939). His teams earned a school-record 12 consecutive NCAA Regional berths from 2003 to 2014. Texas A&M's appearance in the NCAA Championship in 2004 was it's first since 1998.

    In this episode, we talked with Former Women’s Golf Head Coach Susan Holt;

    “It has been an incredible experience to lead this program, win championships, develop amazing student-athletes and regularly compete in NCAA postseason events,” Holt said. 

    A six-time conference Coach of the Year, Holt has led Notre Dame to 10 NCAA regional appearances in the last 12 seasons, including the first NCAA Championship berth in program history (2011). She has also helped the team lower its season stroke average by more than 10 strokes since she arrived on the scene in 2006.

    Holt has piloted Notre Dame to four conference titles, 17 total tournament championships and the top 13 single-season stroke averages in the program’s record book, all while guiding Fighting Irish players to 16 medalist honors and 27 all-conference accolades as well as the first two All-America selections in Notre Dame women’s golf history. Holt also recruited and coached Notre Dame’s first LPGA Tour member, Becca Huffer.

    Mick Statham is entering his 17th season as head coach of the Lafayette College women's soccer program in the fall of 2021. During his tenure, he has coached 21 All-Patriot League honorees.

    Statham was previously named the Patriot League Coach of the Year, a first for the program, and also mentored the Leopards' first conference Offensive Player of the Year (Krista Kissell '21) and two-time Goalkeeper of the Year (Lauren Smedley '13). His student-athletes succeed in the classroom, with the program earning eight Academic All-Patriot League selections. Two former players have also launched professional careers in Europe, with defender Kelly Chickering '16 and goalkeeper Kelly O'Brien '18 taking part in UEFA Women's Champions League action.

    In this episode, we talked with Women’s Gymnastics Head Coach Joanne Bowers;

    Coach Bowers, who throughout her career has guided athletes to the highest levels of collegiate women’s gymnastics, was named the sixth head coach in San José State gymnastics' now 50-year history in August of 2018.

    From 2007 through 2016, Bowers was the head women’s gymnastics coach at the University of Washington during which time she returned that program to national prominence.

    Her teams competed in the NCAA Regional Championships in each of her 10 years with the Huskies. In 2007, her first at the helm, she was named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year and two years later earned West Region Coach of the Year honors.

    Through her tutelage, she produced three NCAA regional individual champions and her athletes competed in seven events and all-around finals at six NCAA Championship meets.

    In this episode, we talked with Head Coach Melissa Luellen;

    Coach Luellen is entering her eighth season as Auburn's head women's golf coach in 2022-23. She came to Auburn after spending the previous 13 years as the head coach at Arizona State, leading the program to an NCAA title in 2009, and then two years prior to that as the head coach at the University of Tulsa. 

    Luellen's coaching accomplishments have earned her several personal coaching honors. After the Sun Devils' NCAA Championship run in 2009, she was named SkyCaddie NGCA National Coach of the Year. Luellen was also named Pac-10 Coach of the Year three times (2006, 2007, 2009) and West Regional Coach of the Year four times (2005, 2006, 2007, 2009). While at Tulsa, Luellen was named Central Regional Coach of the Year in 2002 and WAC Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2002.

    Prior to college, she was a three-time Oklahoma state high school champion, a two-time Women's Oklahoma Golf Association Girls' Junior Champion (1981, 1982), the 1983 WOGA State Amateur, and the 1983 AJGA Player of the Year. Luellen was inducted into the Women's Golf Coaches Association Player Hall of Fame in 1998, the WGCA Coaches Hall of Fame in 2014 and the University of Tulsa Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.

    During her first season in the desert, Moros helped guide Jill Aguilera as she became Arizona's all-time leader in goal's scored. Moros' squad also took down rival Arizona State 2-1 in the regular-season finale, the Wildcats seventh-straight win over the Sun Devils.

    Moros was a standout student-athlete at Duke, where she was an All-American and a three-time All-ACC selection throughout her career. She also competed for the USA U21 National Team in 2006 and was a team captain during her senior season.
     
    After her college career was over, Moros was drafted in the sixth round of the 2009 Women’s Professional Soccer Draft by the Washington Freedom. She went on to play three years in the WPS, two years in the Nadeshiko League in Japan and six years in the NWSL.

    Through 23 seasons as head coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Karin Corbett has established Penn as one of the nation's elite women's lacrosse programs. With 11 Ivy League championships in the past 16 years, 13-straight trips to the NCAA Tournament prior to the pandemic, including three trips to the national semifinals, Corbett's teams have established themselves as perennial NCAA powers. The pinnacle of Corbett's tenure was the 2008 season where the Quakers were NCAA Finalists and spent a number of weeks ranked No. 1 in the country after defeating Northwestern in the regular season.

    Ben Schreiber was hired as the head coach of The Ohio State University spirit squad in April 2014. Schreiber, who cheered for the Buckeyes from 2004-07, comes to Ohio State after spending the past five years as a head cheerleading coach and fitness coordinator at the University of Delaware, where he led the Blue Hens to the 2014 UCA Division I Large Coed National Championship, along with second-place finishes in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

    Coach Schreiber has made Ohio State University Cheer Team one of the Top programs in the nation, finishing in the Top 5 for four years and a row.

    Jordan Lay was named the Lamar University head volleyball coach in January 2020. He comes to Beaumont from Wofford where he has spent the previous four seasons as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator.
     
    During his four seasons at Wofford, Lay built a name for himself as one of the top recruiters in the sport bringing in back-to-back top 150 recruiting classes. Once on campus, Lay helped turned those recruits into some of the Southern Conference’s top talent. Lay’s recruiting efforts produced 11 all-conference selections, including the 2017 Southern Conference Player of the Year and four first-team selections. He also had three players garner all-freshman team honors as well.

    One of the winningest coaches in the history of NCAA Division I soccer, Guerrieri has established Texas A&M as a premier program in the nation. Under his tutelage, Texas A&M is one of only four teams to play in every NCAA Tournament the last 26 seasons. Guerrieri has led the Maroon & White to 16 Sweet Sixteens, seven Elite Eights and the 2014 NCAA Women's College Cup. Coach G's Aggies have consistently been ranked in the national top 25 over the past 20+ seasons while attracting some of the top soccer players in the world to College Station.
