5 Things About Gabrielle: Sharing A Little More About Myself & Why I started The Podcast

Okay, this is an overdue episode. In this episode, the simple and the sacred collide as I share a little bit more about myself and why I started the Returning To Joy Podcast.

    Scriptures mentioned:
    Jeremiah 29:11-14 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

    Matthew 7:6 NIV
“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

    "Building Personal History With God"
Are you truly a Christian a Christ Follower? Are you sure? In crisis, in bad times, when things aren't going as planned the intimacy and history that we have with God could be the sustaining and defining factor. You've either dug your life giving watering holes or you haven't! We all are created with a large capacity for God. Unfortunately, some just want a thimble full and is that going to be enough to get you into the Kingdom of God. Our authority in the Kingdom of God is based upon our proximity and capacity of God. We have churches on every corner, but not authority. We have religiosity, but not authority. The problem is we lack intimacy with God.

Missions Conference 2015: Meet You at the Station, Friday Night // Pastor Dale Barnes // "The Faithfulness of God is an Enticing Thing" // Dale Barnes, a spiritual patriarch of this house, shares how God personally and continually has proven Himself faithful in Dale's life. God's faithfulness entices, challenges, draws, and ministers to us, leading us to a realization that the God we belong to is a faithful God. He loves us, therefore He is faithful. Pastor Dale shares how we can really know He is faithful, not just doctrinally but as a personal, relational reality. /////// **AUDIO QUALITY NOTE: Unfortunately we experienced technical difficulties during this session which resulted in a poor quality recording.
