This week we will hear from Vincent (Jim) Troiola, National Commander of the American Legion. He will share with us the legislative activities of the American Legion along with some opportunities for you to be of service to your brothers and sisters in arms. We discuss the Supreme Court's decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, with special attention to the bitter dissents seemingly aimed at delegitimizing the Court itself. We also look at the more-or-less predictible reactions by conservative politicians and pundits. Events are unfolding in various states aimed at resisting or slowing implementation of the ruling, and it's a sure bet this will be playing out until the election next fall.

Plus: Another victory! The Oklahoma Supreme Court rules that a Ten Commandments monument on the statehouse grounds is a violation of the state constitutions prohibition against the use of funds to benefit--either directly or indirectly--religion.

William Hodges of Indomitable City Soccer, Talks Sac Republic's end of the season. They played to the second round of the playoffs and had some opportunities to go through. At the end of it, mistakes and disorganization, brought on by perhaps injuries and line-up shuffling, created a loss in the knock-out round. William Hodges explores the season with payers and organization as they close out a season and look toward next year.

Xavier Rhodes was rewarded by the Minnesota Vikings with a brand new contract extension, making him one of the highest paid cornerbacks in the NFL. Santa Rick Spielman continues to make the rounds and ink his guys to long-term deals. Who's next?
