Episode 5 - The Billion Dollar Club is Getting Crowded

Episode 5 - The Billion Dollar Club is Getting Crowded

Episode 5 has arrived, and with it comes the debut of THE MAILBAG! We answer some fantastic listener questions, Kasen reports live from Arrendale with his thoughts on "Frozen 2", and we discuss the newly announced and highly controversial Michael Jackson biopic. We also drop our in depth reviews for "Honey Boy" and "Booksmart", and take a deep dive into the possibility that TEN films in 2019 are going to hit the billion dollar mark! What!?

As always, the time stamps are below for anyone that wants to immediately jump to Kasen defending the "Cats" trailer, or Keenan talking about his experience watching a C&*N^%#L movie.

0:19 - Intro/Keenan is feeling better and not a South African CGI creation
5:53 - "Joker" getting a sequel? Some reports say yes, some reports say no. CONFUSION!
9:31 - The King of Pop is getting a biopic?! But what about all the child abuse??????
13:58 - Juliet Roberts is great, but maybe not "Harriet Tubman" great.
17:03 - Elizabeth Banks tells us why "Charlie's Angels" flopped, and it's all Kasen's fault
23:42 - What have we been watching?! For the first time in forever, Kasen reveals his thoughts on a Disney juggernaut, and Keenan drops a back to back watching experience that leaves Kasen hilariously uncomfortable. (Frozen 2, The Green Inferno, Climax, The Good Place, The Dragon Prince, The Mandalorian)
38:14 - Can "original" films succeed at the box office anymore? Can you only get into the Billion Dollar Club if you're a sequel, prequel, remake, existing franchise??? NateLSmith14 drops our very first (fantastic) question!
59:30 - We break down some new trailers while Blink 182 music plays in our heads! (Cats, Call of the Wild, Antebellum, Emma)
1:08:47 - Shia Labeouf takes center stage as Kasen reviews "Honey Boy", and Keenan dives into the hilarious (but familiar) film "Booksmart".
1:28:38 - What's dropping this week!? Can Rian Johnson redeem himself?? Can M Night Shyamalan terrify your family during Thanksgiving dinner??? (Knives Out, Queen and Slim, Servant)
1:32:27 - THE MAILBAG HAS ARRIVED! We tackle 3 great questions and Kasen unfortunately mentions anime. Huge shoutout to TheMattChang, Troyka, and FattyMcgee37!
1:47:55 - We (quickly) drop our MVP's for the week and say goodbye until next week, when we will be recording together and in person!
