    The HPP gang previews the Pac-12, as Rich Harris, Caleb Slaton, and Zach Wilhelm analyze each team in the conference and make their predictions for the 2023-24 season.  Also, two All-Pac-12 players join the show, Stanford small forward Spencer Jones and Colorado forward Tristan da Silva.

    Last season, Spencer averaged 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 43% from the floor, 39% from deep, and 75% from the free-throw line.  He ranked in the top 10 of the Pac-12 for EFG%, offensive rating, BLK%, PER, and P/M.  Also, with a career 3P% of 39.4, he currently ranks 13th all-time in Pac-12 history.

    As a junior last season, Tristan averaged 15.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 50% from the floor, 39% from deep, and 76% from the foul line.  He ranked in the top 10 of the Pac-12 for PPG, SPG, FG%, EFG%, PER, and WS.

    Jake and Rich preview the West Coast Conference (WCC) and the Mountain West Conference (MWC), and make some surprising predictions.  They are joined by Boise State forward Tyson Degenhart and Nevada forward Tre’ Coleman. 

    Last season, Degenhart, the 2022 MWC Rookie of the Year and a 2023 first-team All-MWC selection, averaged 14.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 54% from the floor, 33% from deep, and 68% from the free-throw line.  He also ranked in the top 5 of the MWC for EFG%, offensive rating, win shares, and plus-minus. 

    Coleman, an ironman, a glue guy, and a 2023 MWC All-Defense selection, has never missed a game at Nevada, playing in a total of 90 contests while averaging more than 28 minutes per game.  Last season, he averaged 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 45% from the floor, 36% from deep, and 68% from the charity stripe.  He finished 5th in the MWC for block percentage, led the Wolfpack with A/T ratio of 3.2, and finished 2nd on the team for plus-minus.

    With the NBA Preseason set to start in less than two weeks, the HPP crew previews all 15 teams in the Eastern Conference.  The show also features the regular NBA and College Notebook segments, and Saint Joseph guard Erik Reynolds II, an Atlantic 10 Player of the Year candidate, talks with the guys about his game, the upcoming season, and Philly basketball traditions. 

    An All-A10 selection in 2022-23, Erik was one of the most efficient scorers in the nation, ranking at the 88th percentile for points per possession.  He ranked second in the A-10 with 19.6 points per game, and he ranked in the top 10 of the conference for FG% (43.0), 3P% (37.9), and FT% (88.5).  He also ranked in the top six of the A-10 for player efficiency rating (21.4), win shares (4.7), and plus-minus (5.0).
