Some of the best racehorse breeding comes from Normandy, along with over 2000 sport stud farms. This area is famous for its schools, which offer farrier training, saddle and harnesses making, to veterinarian horse health. From galloping on beaches or riding through the forest bridleways, Normandy offers fantastic riding opportunities. Then there is the Gastronomy, with cheese, fruit, bread, seafood the list goes on.

From Parades, horse shows, and horse races horses are clearly the favorites of the Queen. The Queen Platinum Jubilee showcased her love of horses as almost every event had them.     Do you know how to tell how old your horse is? For some horse owners, the registration or passport will show when your horse was born. Not all of us will have access to these documents. In today's EQA  # 249 we discuss some ways to tell the age of a horse.  Starting with their teeth, the Galvayne's groove is a great dental feature that appears around the age of 10. From there is moved down the tooth until it is completely disappeared by age 30.  We also learn about average life spans and those breeds that have an extra-long life expectancy.
