The summit was for professional riders, veterinarians, life-longer learners, recreational horse owners, and university professors. The summit was held in late October at Spy Coast Farm’s Equine Education Center. Nina Ekholm Fry works with therapeutic human-horse interactions and equine behavior and welfare as Director of Equine Programs at University of Denver’s Institute for Human-Animal Connection. She is a trauma therapist and leads the post-master program in Equine-Assisted Mental Health for therapists who want to include interactions with horses in psychotherapy. Need we say more?

Nina Ekholm Fry is Director of Equine Programs at the Institute for Human-Animal Connection at the University of Denver where her work focuses on therapeutic human-horse interactions and on equine behavior and welfare.
