My passion is to awaken the church to the Beauty of Jesus, Intimacy with Holy Spirit, the Revelation of Intercession and a Longing for Jesus' Return. In the same way Jesus' disciples asked Him to "Teach them to Pray" so I believe that I am called (along with many others across the earth) to disciple a generation in prayer. I do this by being a man of prayer, traveling, preaching, teaching, writing, and online courses, which includes 3 live sessions per month. My family and I spent 18 years in Kansas City, MO with International House of Prayer and am currently on the pastoral team at Upper Room Church in Dallas, TX. I’ve been married to the love of my life, Dana for over 20 years and we have 3 daughters: Trinity, Mya and Hadassah.

As St. Patrick's Day approaches we tend to think about those little leprechauns, browse our wardrobe for apparel of green, and give into superstitions of luck. Well, as much as luck would have it in some peoples lives, I have always preferred to say blessed. Basically because I'm not sure I believe in luck (Yikes! I said it!).

No, I believe more in the power of prayer. Now I may have lost you there, but stick with me for a moment. There are some challenges to accepting this thing called prayer which we will discuss on Holly's Highlights podcast today. First - why pray? Or second, if they decide that praying may be worth giving a shot, well, they may not know how to pray.
