Coaching, relationships and the 'C word' with generator Melissa Colleret

Coaching, relationships and the 'C word' with generator Melissa Colleret
I was so excited to have one of my first ever coaches on this episode! I met Mel at a yoga teacher training. I knew the moment that she started speaking about her passion for life that I wanted to connect with her further. As you'll hear in the episode, I was one of the first people who paid her for 1:1 coaching, and let me tell you I was extremely excited to make that investment in myself through her!

Mel has lived a zigzaggy journey like so many of us generator energy types. She went from psychology to Lululemon to yoga teaching to opening a studio to coaching to writing to becoming a mom and many other places along the way.

I realized while chatting that we have followed a VERY similar journey. One part being that we were both diagnosed with cancer. Her at 25, me at 37. Different types. Different journeys. But I can definitely relate to her a lot.

There were so many juicy bits to this episode (like when she opens up about her recent breakup) that you'll just have to listen to find out more!

But I will share with you a couple of prompts that Mel mentioned that I think are worth diving into:

    1. What would I do if I didn't care what people thought of me?
    2. What would I do if anything were possible?

I highly suggest connecting with Mel to find out more about what's going on in her world!

The tables have turned! Host Jaime Moar gets interviewed by fellow WonderWalker Jessica Adams

The tables have turned! Host Jaime Moar gets interviewed by fellow WonderWalker Jessica Adams
In this episode I take the back seat and let Jessica Adams run the show. Well, I try to anyway!

Jess asks me questions that I often ask my own guests which was both fun and challenging.

I share about who I currently am and what's going on in my life. This includes everything from the Marina season coming to an end, the opening of my new wellness space 'The Well', my virtual membership 'The Playground', my recent diagnosis, the WonderWeekend that we are both hosting at the end of September, and all kinds of laughter and cheersing.

It was an absolute joy to be interviewed by Jess who handled it like a pro.

On journeying from a product to a service based business with generator Renee Morris

On journeying from a product to a service based business with generator Renee Morris
One of my most memorable experiences with the vibrant Renee was when she joined us on our first ever WonderWalk. It was in the winter of 2020, moments before COVID struck, and we ventured out onto a frozen lake. When we dove into conversation I remember that there was something stirring inside of Renee. She wouldn't say exactly what, but I could tell the momentum was there and that whatever it was going to be was going to be amazing.

At the time Renee had a business called The Hobo Train which she ran for about 12 years. She sewed scarves and bags and learnt all of the ins and outs of running a business through trial and error and self teaching.

Around the time of our WonderWalk she knew she was ready for a big pivot. So shortly after is when she moved into the world of jewelry. She did her research, got high quality products to create with, and launched another business off the ground.

In true generator fashion, it turns out that was more of a stepping stone. She knew the shift was meant to be bigger. She knew she had gifts she needed to share. And after seeing an osteopath who was also an energy worker she was guided in the direction of her calling: Quantum energy healing practitioner.

She is a big believer that we all have the ability to heal ourselves, and that sometimes we just need a little guidance. Which is where she comes in.

With her practice she implements the powerful skills of quantum energy healing and second sight to support her clients all over the world in finding relief from physical and emotional issues, in rediscovering their vibrant life-force energy, and in taking full responsibility for their own health, healing, and happiness.

And after having two sessions with Renee I can say that she does exactly that.

I highly recommend connecting with Renee and experiencing her gifts for yourself!

PS. Renee was kind enough to offer a discount to all listeners! When booking use the discount code 'PODCAST10' to get 10% off your session!

On being a human-first entrepreneur with sacral generator Stephanie McColm

On being a human-first entrepreneur with sacral generator Stephanie McColm
In this episode I get to chat with the brilliant Stephanie McColm. When we spoke she was newly moved into her home in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Steph has a huge passion for travel, so thankfully she's developed a business that can be done from anywhere.

When living in Australia she started a business as a virtual assistant. Then (in Steph's words) the role of a VA simply wasn’t enough. She wanted to support others to feel the balance of work and play, too.

And that's exactly what she does!

Her gift is helping entrepreneurs free up time so that they aren't working in or on their business 24/7. She helps you set up systems so that you can free yourself of those daily tasks that can often take up so much of your time and energy.

I've had the pleasure of taking a program with her and I can tell you that her patience is as big as her knowledge of Dubsado.

I am also EXTREMELY excited that I will be meeting Steph in real life in Cabo, Mexico where I will be joining her for her mindful marketing retreat SEEN.

    Want to join us??

On farming, homeschooling and knowing when to call it quits with splenic manifestor Kristen Gingera

On farming, homeschooling and knowing when to call it quits with splenic manifestor Kristen Gingera
    "It started with 3 chickens"

The perfect intro to this episode with Kristen Gingera of Cheeky Creek Farm. I was so thrilled to be able to talk to Kristen. Partially because I hadn't chatted with a manifestor in a while, and mainly because I have been so curious about her story and her life as a farmer.

Kristen and her husband Corey had been living on the South Shore of Montreal when they decided to make a big move out to the Eastern Townships and buy a farm with Kristen's in-laws.

Kristen was a teacher and Corey an electrician. When they started their farming journey there was a lot they needed to figure out. But 7 years later they seem to have their feet on the ground (and Kristen got her chickens!)

They now have 3 kids and Kristen proudly calls herself a farmer. She's also realized that as manifestor it's ok to kick a project off the ground and then pass it off to others.

She also is a very strong believer in eating locally sourced food and that mangos should only be eaten on vacation (just kidding...but have a listen to find out what I mean!) This episode has encouraged me to think more about what I put in my body.

I highly encourage connecting with Kristen on IG (her reels are great). And if you live in the area head over to her website to order from her farm!

Helping women through their motherhood journey with manifesting-generator Lauren Enright

Helping women through their motherhood journey with manifesting-generator Lauren Enright
In this episode I speak with sacral manifesting-generator Lauren Enright.

Lauren embodies being a mani-gen so well. When you hear your story you'll see the beautiful windy path she took to get to the career she has now. She is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who helps women navigate their fertility journey through yoga, support and coaching groups, and as a doula.

I met Lauren when we were both teaching at the same yoga studio in Montreal and I knew that the women that were taking classes with her were so very lucky.

Whether she's teaching yoga, coaching fertility clients, or providing doula support, her goals are the same:  to educate, empower, and support you on your Motherhood journey.

I highly recommend connecting with Lauren and checking out the amazing offers she has coming up!

Comedy, burlesque and food as medicine with generator Jennifer June Chapman

Comedy, burlesque and food as medicine with generator Jennifer June Chapman
In this episode I have the pleasure of chatting with Jen, who is a multi-passionate entrepreneur. She had big dreams of going to Hollywood and being the modern day Mae West. And she has basically fulfilled that by being on stage as a comedian and a burlesque performer.

Jen fell into nutrition when she was struck by a near-fatal autoimmune disease  (autoimmune hemolytic anemia) and had to fight for her life. She wanted to do everything should could to not end up in that situation again. And down the rabbit hole of holistic nutrition she went! Now Jen is a holistic nutritionist, a certified vegan health coach a nutritherapy practitioner and a naturopathy student.

I feel so lucky to have been able to spend an hour chatting with this hilarious and awesome woman. If you're interested in nutritional guidance from someone who can crack you up at the same time I highly recommend connecting with Jen!

Embracing change and finding your practice with sacral generator Katie Braja

Embracing change and finding your practice with sacral generator Katie Braja
This episode was so much fun to record! Gosh I love Katie.

Katie is someone who I met in a business coaching program that we were both in with the wonderful Erika Tebbens. As soon as Katie started speaking, and especially when she started speaking about her business, I knew I not only wanted to hire her but I also wanted to be her friend. And that I am.

We speak about yoga, meditation, personal practices, energy, human design, and living life in a way that feels good to you.

One of the reasons I love Katie is because she speaks about these topics in such a kind and generous way. She knows not everyone is meant to have the same style of meditation. And that everyone has a different reason for incorporating these practices in their lives. And she is brilliant at helping people find their reason.

We also talk about the challenges of being an entrepreneur. And how sometimes you need to get another job to take some of the pressure off. And that is absolutely ok. She offers a great reminder that taking a step back in your business does not mean you love it any less.

I had the pleasure of joining Katie's Relaxation Club during the fall and winter and it was my favourite 30 minutes of the week. She has such a gentle and loving way of guiding you to move your body in a way that leads to total and complete relaxation - something we could all use a little help with. She'll be kicking that off again in June! And she will be also giving a 'Relaxation 101' workshop at the end of the month! (May 2022)

If you're looking to connect with Katie (which I highly recommend!)

The importance of patience and taking a breath with manifesting-generator Crystal McIntyre

The importance of patience and taking a breath with manifesting-generator Crystal McIntyre
In the first episode of season 3 I interview the fun and sparkly Crystal McIntyre. Crystal is a 1/3 (Investigator/Martyr), emotional manifesting-generator who embraces her many passions in life. She is an intuitive artist and human design mentor amongst many other things (like being the best dressed person Squamish cows have ever seen!)

The reason I wanted Crystal here to kick off the season with me is because of her deep knowledge of human design. I think it's important to hear about this fascinating modality from different people using different words, and Crystal has such a beautiful way of speaking about it.

We dive into how having a deep trust in human design can help you move through life with ease and how the more you trust it the more you will head exactly in the direction you are meant to go.

That is what has encouraged Crystal to dive into her gifts as an artist with full permission. She beautifully creates calendars and picture books and illustrates others' story books. She has the ability to help you birth the story that your soul came here to tell.

So if you would like to learn from this wise woman you can find her here!

How to gracefully and bravely fail your way to success with manifesting generator Amy Spandau

How to gracefully and bravely fail your way to success with manifesting generator Amy Spandau
In this episode I chat with my beautiful friend, client and mentor Amy Spandau.

I first came to know Amy when I listened to her on Heather Kelly's podcast Relentless & Ridiculous. I was on the edge of my seat as she shared her story over this two part interview. Amy had dreams of owning a ranch and she dove heart first into those dreams. What follows is a wild ride of ups and downs and a whole lot of lessons along the way (hello profile line 3!)

Fast forward to today and Amy is a CFO, executive coach, board advisor, and finds joy in helping smart, sophisticated entrepreneurs build their businesses and personal finances through her company, Ablaze Financial.

In this episode Amy offers so many valuable tips to anyone looking to start a business. And she shares how human design played a huge part in helping her rid herself of the 'shoulds' and find herself again.

Amy is such a light in my life and I am so grateful to have met her.

A solo episode! Jaime chats values, rest, fashion, human design...and losing your train of thought

A solo episode! Jaime chats values, rest, fashion, human design...and losing your train of thought
In this solo episode I share an update on how my yoga classes and alignment and business programs are going (and how much I'm obsessed with them). With that comes a conversation about the importance of rest as an entrepreneur (and as a human), how knowing your core values can help you live your legacy, and lots more.

I also answer a few questions that were sent to me by some Instagram friends! With this I get into how I transitioned from full time yoga teacher to coach, my personal and brand esthetic (call me a fashionista why don't ya!), and my future goals (including some exciting news about what I'll be launching in fall 2022!)

I close off the episode with a little human design related reminder that I will never stop repeating.

And sprinkled throughout is a whole lot of gratitude for all of my listeners and every single person who has taken a chance on me.

I like you and I love you,

On breaking free from the box and using creativity to find yourself with Emilie Almontes

On breaking free from the box and using creativity to find yourself with Emilie Almontes
In this episode I interview beautiful generator, Emilie. She opens up about her life story that I'm sure many listeners will be able to connect to.

Emilie was a teacher for almost 10 years until she realized that her teaching career was draining the life out of her. As much as she loved her students, working in the system wasn't feeling aligned anymore.

Next thing you know, she signed up for an acting class and everything changed! She found parts of herself that she didn't know were there. And it truly allowed her to break free from the box she had been put in (hello line 5!).

And then Emilie proceeded down a windy path of ups and downs, where lessons were learned and powerful connections were made.

While dabbling with acting, Emilie jumped into the bar industry where she learned MANY more lessons until she was finally called into the world of health and wellness. And mainly what she was called to was connecting with the spiritual side of herself.

She then found essential oils, plant medicine, veganism, movement, reiki, and other energy healing tools. Which is what she now prioritizes and shares with others.

So if anyone is looking to dive deeper into their spiritual journey, or even just to take care of themselves, I highly recommend connecting with Emilie.

Bravely diving into entrepreneurship and an honest convo about human design with Amelia Lehmann

Bravely diving into entrepreneurship and an honest convo about human design with Amelia Lehmann
In this episode I chat with beautiful emotional manifesting-generator Amelia Lehman.

Amelia was born in Australia and has lived in Canada for all of her adult life. As much as she misses the sounds of the birds in Australia, she seems to love the mountains of Banff even more.

I loved hearing about Amelia's journey into the world of entrepreneurship. Her line 1 in her profile (the investigator) showed up hard when she taught herself how to start a matcha business. Fast forward not even 2 years and she turned Matcha Nude into a successful business which she sold at the end of 2021.

Now Amelia is an energetics coach who uses reiki and human design to help you become yourself again. And in this episode I have so much fun talking to Amelia about human design and how it's impacted her life.

She is a bright light in this world and I highly recommend you connect with her!

Following the slow and steady path with spiritual medium Danielle Searancke

Following the slow and steady path with spiritual medium Danielle Searancke
I am so excited to introduce you all to Danielle Searancke - a professional spiritual medium, mentor, educator & indigenous entrepreneur.

When my friend Nikki (from episode 19) told me about Danielle I immediately started binging her Spirit School podcast. And then I immediately knew that I wanted her on my podcast. And Danielle is a big deal! So when she said yes to being on the show I got nervous/excited.

In this episode, manifesting-generator Danielle tells us about her windy road to entrepreneurship. She tells us about her stage fright, the leap she took from the motor industry to the spiritual world, about being married to a skeptic, about connecting with your spirit guides, and so much more.

Danielle is immediately a trustworthy and loveable person. I could listen to her talk all day. And on reflection, I wish I had asked her a billion more questions. Which might mean I need to have her on for part 2!

The journey to motherhood, knowing when to delegate and poppin' a squat with Nikki Johnston

The journey to motherhood, knowing when to delegate and poppin' a squat with Nikki Johnston
In this episode I talk to my manifesting-generator childhood friend Nikki Johnston. I always 'joke' that this podcast is a great way for me to catch up with friends (and it really is), but these conversations are more than just shooting the sh*t.

Nikki shares her journey from thinking that she 'should' have a desk job to becoming a pregnancy and postpartum fitness coach. There was some trial and error along the way (as there should be), but at the core of it Nikki knew what she loved most. Which was to spend time out in nature, moving, getting stronger, and building connection to self.

When Nikki herself got pregnant a couple of years ago her fitness business evolved into one where she helps pregnant women and new mothers take care of themselves and have a better understanding of their bodies.

She also shares her journey to motherhood - and I am so happy she did. So many struggle with this journey and Nikki sharing her story will hopefully help others feel not so alone.

If you are pregnant, a new mom, or know someone who is, please feel free to spread the word about Nikki! She is a wonderful human with so much knowledge to share.

Oh! And she is an expert at poppin' a squat ;)

Let me introduce you to your Website Witch, Drea Gideon!

Let me introduce you to your Website Witch, Drea Gideon!
In this episode I talk to the beautiful and wise Drea Gideon.

Drea and I met through the world of yoga. I was teaching at a yoga studio in Montreal where she was a dedicated student. We share how our relationship with yoga has evolved, both due to COVID, and due to our own personal evolution.

Drea also opens up about mental health and shares her journey towards healing. She is open, honest, and as a Generator with a 3 in her profile she has a whole lot to share with the world.

Not long ago this brave woman took the leap into the world of entrepreneurship and brought back her childhood passion of using her creativity to develop websites. That's right! She was making websites at the ripe age of 8 years old. And now she gets to help people in the wellness industry share their gifts by helping them create beautiful and meaningful websites.

So look no further! Your website witch is here!

I love you and I like you.

I love you and I like you.
In this episode I get extremely vulnerable and raw - exactly what I want for this podcast.

It kicks off with me sharing a little about where I'm at in this season of my life and my business. I talk about how deeply I'm enjoying my yoga classes, how much I am learning through guiding my programs, and my hopes for all that is to come.

And then I get to the main topic of the episode...relationships!

I share a little about my past and the journey I took that led me to finding Duncan. I also open up about the work we do on our relationship, and how hard yet important that is.

So while I may not be a relationship expert, I definitely love sharing my experiences so that others don't feel alone.

That's one of my purposes in life, and one of the purposes of this podcast - to remind you that you are not alone.

And as always, I hold huge gratitude for each of you that take the time to listen.

I like you and I love you.

Late morning chats with the love of my life, Duncan McKenna

Late morning chats with the love of my life, Duncan McKenna
In this episode I chat with the man I wake up next to every morning: Duncan McKenna. We speak about how our relationship came to be, about travels, road trips, adventures and mis-adventures. We talk about our engagement, forget to talk about our wedding, and get vulnerable about seeking help from a relationship coach.

I won't go into much more detail here because it's definitely worth listening to. Duncan has a way with words and I feel very fortunate to have been able to sit with him for over an hour to chat about life.

AND this is the 13th and final episode of the first season of That Does Not Belong To Me! I am so grateful for everyone who has listened and supported me along the way. And I am very excited to kick off the second season!

Restaurant life, the truth behind alignment and choosing fun with me, Jaime Moar

Restaurant life, the truth behind alignment and choosing fun with me, Jaime Moar
In this episode I interview a very special guest...myself! You get to hear me answer my very own journal questions out loud. I discuss everything from running a very successful restaurant to teaching yoga in the most magical space to the truth about what alignment means to me. It's unscripted and real. If there is anything I want from this podcast is for it to feel authentic and vulnerable and for you, as the listener, to feel like you are not alone in this world.

I also talk about exciting offers I am creating for the fall. So stay tuned for more info on my 6 week intimate group coaching programs: Alignment & Slow and Alignment & Go!
