    TJ asks Shamier why she decided to be a 400 meter hurdler (1:50) and how she got started in that event (2:26). The first novel we’re reading is Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, a book fitting for a lot of the conversations we’re having with our friends and family right now about race.     TJ and Keni revisit the day she broke the world record. Keni describes her mindset going into the race (:40), what went through her mind when she finally realized she broke the World Record (1:51) and what kind of confidence that has given her in her races since (2:27). Keni also tells the story about getting a call from her former coach which helped boost her spirits prior to her world record race (3:07). TJ asks Keni why, even for professionals, it is so hard to stay consistent in the hurdles (5:27) and what felt different about her record setting race (6:37). TJ and Keni discuss her struggles as a professional in championship races and what it will take for her to finally win a gold medal (9:02).     This Interview is with 400m hurdler specialist/ Sprints and Hurdle Coach, Jeshua Anderson. Coach Anderson will take us through his high school, collegiate and professional career during this interview. Jeshua talks about work ethic, his time as a football player and his mentors. 

    Coach Anderson is currently at the University of Washington and made a lot of noise on the west coast with is hurdle crew in 2019. He is looking forward to his 2020 season and i cant wait to see what he has in store. I hope you all enjoy his journey as much as i did.
