Bytes 'n' Batteries #37 - Unterwegs im VW ID. 3 1st Edition (Live-Report)

Nach dem Diesel-Abgas-Skandal scheint es Volkswagen ernst zu meinen mit der Elektromobilität und hat mit dem VW ID. 3 ein von Grund auf neu konzipiertes Elektroauto auf die Beine gestellt, welches sich der MEB-Plattform bedient. Als e-Golf-Fahrer waren wir gespannt, wie "der Neue" im direkten Vergleich abschneidet. Denn der ID. 3 ist einer der Hoffnungsträger in Sachen Mobilitätswende in Deutschland. Kann sein Design und das Bedienkonzept alt eingesessene VW-Kunden auf Anhieb begeistern? Überzeugen Ladeleistung und Antritt? Stimmt die gern propagierte Aussage "außen Golf, innen Passat"? Und wie sieht es mit der realen Reichweite aus?

Wir haben einen der ersten Fahrzeuge für euch getestet und ein spannendes Wochenende in VWs erstem, richtigen Elektroauto erlebt (Testwagen-Modell: 1st Edition mit 58 kWh Akku und 150 kW Leistung).

Is it possible that taking the roof off a car Benjamin never really enjoyed driving suddenly changes everything? So it would seem with the 2019 BMW M4 Cabriolet, the last edition of this generation's convertible M car, and perhaps the second-most interesting drop top in the BMW line-up. Sami, on the other hand, can't quite understand who's out there lusting after the 2020 BMW X6's muscular hindquarters after driving the new model at the company's Spartanburg plant. The pair also answer listener questions about the Mustang Mach-E, the VW ID3, and update everyone on the status of Benjamin's Scion xB situation.
