Episode 603 - Top Ten Two Man Bands Part 2 w/Fernando Perdomo & Michael Collins of Broken Sound

At a certain point during Top Ten Two Man Bands Part 1, the conversation with Fernando Perdomo and Michael Collins of the phenomenal two man band Broken Sound sorta went off the rails. Many of our favorite ATTT hangs have this feature as a selling point. The good news is in Part 2, we never ever got back on the rails. It's a rail-less pod, in the best possible way. We can't thank Fern and Michael enough for taking the time to jabber with us about our favorite Two Man Bands. Here in Part 2, we get to the cream of the crop and picks 5-1.

Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran (Illiterate Light)

Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran (Illiterate Light)

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We're super pumped for this exciting episode featuring Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran of Illiterate Light -- a stunning duo who are noted for their dynamic and striking live performances with Jeff on guitar and bass pedals and Jake's unorthodox standing position at the drum kit, infusing an amazing energy into their live shows.  Their new album, Sunburned -- out now -- is a profound and expansive look into mortality and the human condition, and has truly taken the band to the next level. Digging deep into their own experiences, and bringing everything on stage has been a hallmark of their artistic output, and that connection with audiences on a deep level continues to drive their love of what they do. Both Jeff and Jake are also profoundly affected by environmental issues  -- both are avid cyclists -- and have explored new ways to connect with audiences and raise awareness by creating pedal-powered shows to create innovative live experiences at festivals and venues across the country.  So hop on the Roadcase bus (or better yet this time, pedal along!) and learn more about these truly compelling artists and humans, Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran.  It's gonna be a great ride!!
