Jordan Taylor: The dream of Corvette, racing with his family and a weird butt surprise.

Jordan Taylor: The dream of Corvette, racing with his family and a weird butt surprise.

This was probably the funniest episode we recorded so far. Jordan is known to be very good and successful race car driver in USA but an even funnier social media personality. We talk through his career and his dream of driving for Corvette, his NASCAR experience, racing with his brother and father. And we touched on his social media stories, Rodney Sandstorm and much more.. Hope you enjoy.

ROVAL RUMBLINGS-MSR ACURA EXCELLENCE-THE CHIMES OF SUCCESS

ROVAL RUMBLINGS-MSR ACURA EXCELLENCE-THE CHIMES OF SUCCESS

This week’s Wind Tunnel takes you inside one of Honda’s flagship teams, behind the scenes in a pursuit of one of racing’s most unique trophies and analysis of a team’s attempt to manipulate a race’s outcome.

When the Bank of America Roval 400 went to overtime, it set up n exciting finish that catapulted Christopher Bell into the Round of 8. It also set up a desperation laden final 2 laps for SHR’s Chase Briscoe who needed to gain several spots to knock Kyle Larsen out of his transfer spot. As Briscoe carved through the field on new tires, his teammate, Cole Custer slowed on the backstretch which resulted in several of the spots Chase was pursuing to slow as well. A post race analysis of Custer’s actions resulted in $200,000 in fines as well as hefty points penalty. In a rare departure for normal Wind Tunnel episodes, Jack breaks down the situation and offers his opinion on the optics as well as the actions.

Meyer Shank Racing finished off their 2022 IMAS Campaign the same way that they started it….by Winning! They kicked off the year taking the Rolex 24 and capped a Championship campaign by taking the top honors at the Petit LeMans 2 weeks ago. MSR’s  Michael Shank drops in and we talk about the team’s IMSA success as well as a review of their IndyCar efforts.

Jack checks  in with Peyton Sellers. Sellers and Layne Riggs took the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National Championship right down to the final races at Dominion Speedway and only after a post season audit did Sellers discover that he had lost the title that he left Dominion thinking that he had won.

But Sellers found a silver lining to that cloud when he took the top honors after 15 years of trying  at MARTINSVILLE Speedway’s Valley Star 300 adding a Grandfather clock to his Trophy Case.  Sellers takes this week’s Advance Auto Parts Victory lap and we talk about the roller coaster ride of emotions those 7 days created.

All that as well as a recap of the NASCAR Playoffs stop at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Roval on this week’s Wind Tunnel.

TAKING A STEP BACK – TAKING 40,000 STEPS FORWARD – CHANGING RACING’S CULTURE

TAKING A STEP BACK – TAKING 40,000 STEPS FORWARD – CHANGING RACING’S CULTURE

After more than two decades of chasing IndyCar wins and Indy 500s, Ryan Hunter Reay stepped away and spent time racing SRX and Sports Cars. When he steps into the Wind Tunnel RHR shares his thoughts about his career and why this season was fulfilling for him.

At age 19, Michigan’s Evan Shotko has already made his mark in the Late Model world. This season has seen the teen prevail in some of the Series’ most prestigious events including a 7 day span where wins at Jennerstown Speedway and his home track, Berlin Raceway, earned him more than $40,000. He and Jack unpack this magical season and talk about what is still on his list of goals for 2022.

When Justin Marks announced he formation of TrackHouse Racing 20 months ago, no one could have imagined the team’s success. Except Justin Marks. When he and Jack sit down, they drill into TrackHouse’s commitment to disruption, the NASCAR Cup Playoffs, the team’s Project 91 and what’s on the horizon for the culture changing operation.

All that and a review of last week’s racing action awaits you in this week’s Episode of “Jack Arute’s Wind Tunnel”

    Jeep Slander and IMSA Recap

    Jeep Slander and IMSA Recap

On episode 6 of the Forza World Podcast, we recap our insane race weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and yet another baffling Porsche Cars & Coffee! A special thank you goes out to IMSA, CTMP, and especially the 🐐 Sam Fellows for hooking us up - we can't wait to do more with the track in the coming months.  We also sat in a 2 million-dollar Porsche Carrera, somehow. At 20:50, we get into the Forza talk about this upcoming Forza Horizon Hot Wheels pack. The boys had a few issues with the overall rollout of the pack itself, and how long it took for it to come out after the announcement. Note that the pack had not been released at the time of recording, so a full review episode will be coming next! Jason's Complaint Corner features transport trucks (lorries) blocking passing lanes, and Jason's pick for F*** That Car was the disgusting Jeep Patriot. The podcast closes with an all-time rant and some top-tier Jeep Slander - you won't want to miss it! All that and more on this episode of the Forza World Podcast.

Forza Horizon Radio Stations, Limited Editions, and Merch

On this episode, the fellas get into the Forza Horizon radio stations, and why they aren't nearly as good as they used to be. Aren discusses the exhaust note on the newly added GT3. We also reminisce about Limited Collector's Editions of Forza, and how hard it is to find official merchandise. Jason's complaint corner is caffeine induced, as usual, and transitions into some updates on LMDh and some new entries. He also learns the correct pronunciation of Peugeot. We quickly recap Ferrari's bumbling performance in Monaco with zero accuracy, and the future of the Monaco Grand Prix. Our F*** That Car segment is especially critical towards Nissan's and rounds out the rest of the show. Enjoy Episode 3 of the Forza World Podcast!
