Pray 365 - Day 10 Intercede for our Nations

Pray 365 - Day 10 Intercede for our Nations

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
    How:
Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. 1 Timothy 2:8
let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23

Let's pray daily for our nation, family and relationship with God. The spoken word is powerful. God spoke the world into existence and in John 1 we read that the Word was with God and the Word was God. Let's speak the Word over our land.

The Assurance of Security in Christ
Continuing our study of Romans today Pastor Mark brings us to the part consider to be the summit (these verses) of the Mt. Everest (chapter 8) of the book of Romans. Consider with us the four questions and answers provided in these verses: who can be against us since God is for us; how God will graciously give us all things proven as though the giving of his Son; who can bring a charge against those in Christ because it is God who justifies; and who can condemn those in Christ because Jesus in interceding for them.

    Hanaya: Someone's got to go

    Hanaya: Someone's got to go

Is God nudging your heart to step out and do something? What nation or group is highlighted in your heart for missions? Or what social, cultural, or moral issues bother you? Maybe you sense a calling to do something in the seven mountains of societal influence; family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment, business, and government. It's time to step out!

Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?
    — Isaiah 6:8

We have many settlers, so few goers. Courage isn't the absence of fear; rather, it's making a brave choice in spite of fear. Be inspired and stirred up as you listen to Hanaya's resolve as she reflects on God's calling to go.

He isn't in the earthly copies, but in the heavenly realities. He isn't a shadow. He is the substance. Why would we want anything else?

Hebrews 7: Not Prevented by Death

Hebrews 7: Not Prevented by Death

    Hebrews 7:20-28

Jesus is not only a great high priest. He is the greatest. Better than Aaron and any of his sons. One reason is death did not prevent Jesus from continuing to intercede for us. Because of His resurrection and ascension, He continues to intercede for us in heaven at the right hand of God.
