In this PCPA Podcast we focus on Leadership Stories: Women in Oncology Research, launched on International Women’s Day 2024. We tackle: Is it necessary to go overseas to progress your career? Can you do great research in the private sector? What are the special qualities and strengths women bring to cancer care? This episode is a powerful tribute to the remarkable women who are shaping the future of cancer research and making a significant impact on the lives of thousands of cancer patients. It's a reminder of the importance of diversity and inclusion in scientific research and the crucial role women play in driving innovation and progress.

Season 4 Episode 25 - An Insightful Interview With Vative's Theo Pappas and Parth Bommakanti

Today on the podcast we are proud to announce our partnership with Vative. This partnership gives us a new ability to provide training to your staff on the factory floor and offer government recognised certificates each person can achieve. This is a massive new initiative that helps us provide "lean thinking" skills and knowledge at all levels of your business.

This will form the foundations in our new Joinery Manufacturing Excellence Program.

Today I talked with Theo Pappas and Parth Bommakanti from Vative about this new initiative and they tell us more about Vative and more about their own journeys.

Vative is a business optimisation consultancy and training organisation that operates around Australia, working with many businesses, many of which aren't joinery related. They have a lot of really valuable insights into business management and employee training, which Theo and Parth are here to talk a little bit about.

Season 3 Episode 6: Elevating Women in the Joinery Industry

Season 3 Episode 6: Elevating Women in the Joinery Industry
In today's guest interview episode I have the amazing Lynda Tregoweth and Tiffany Newman on to talk about the importance of being a woman in the joinery industry, what it means to be the partner of someone who runs a joinery business, and also Lynda and Tiffany talk about their fantastic program, The Women's Elevate Group! The joinery industry is primarily a male dominated industry, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an industry exclusively for men. The Women's Elevate Group has been a fantastic program for women in this industry to have a safe space to talk and create a community around their perspective within our industry. Today's podcast is a really important topic that I think everyone should hear and be aware of.
