Used Cars 1980
Get in! I'll explain on the way.
Used Cars was one in an endless loop of early '80s movies watching over us as we plopped ourselves down in front of the cathode-ray tube babysitter. And we flew in an expert for this episode. Jesus Mike is your man if you're in the market for a new beater. He's one suave....shut your mouth!
This movie was a right of passage on The Movie Channel in 1981. TMC was our first VCR. Play it again Sam!
Episode 182 - The Verdict
This week's Listener Takeover pick comes to us from Uncle Tony. The Verdict starring Paul Newman, Jack Warden, James Mason, and Charlotte Rampling. Disgraced alcoholic attorney Frank Galvin (Paul Newman) is given an easy and lucrative settle out of court case by his former partner Mickey Morrissey (Jack Warden). However, upon reviewing the case, Frank Gavin has a change of heart and fights to get justice for his client who is now dependent on a ventilator due to medical malpractice. Can Frank Gavin help Uncle Tony's movie selection score high, or is the "Verdict" in on this one?

Ep. 91: Brian's Song (Featuring Justin & Jose from Watch/Skip+)
Zo is joined by the incredibly knowledgeable Justin "The Cinemasochist" and Jose "Cupcake". Together they go back in time to another racially charged era in U.S. history through the lens of professional American football. The events of this film are based on actual events that examines how friendships can endure the challenges of trauma, setbacks and heartaches.

All the President’s Men (1976)
Could this be the greatest film about journalism ever made?
It’s certainly one of the most celebrated investigations of one of the greatest political scandals in American history. We follow two young reporters from the Washington Post – Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein – as they exhaustively get to the bottom of not only whom was behind the infamous 1972 break-in at the National Democratic Party headquarters as the Watergate Hotel, but who was covering it up….and how that went, all the way to the White House.
Robert Redford plays Woodward, Dustin Hoffman plays Bernstein, and they are joined by a stellar cast of veteran actors including Jason Robards, Hal Holbrook, Jane Alexander, Jack Warden, and Martin Balsam. Alan J. Pakula directed this classic thriller,
Let’s follow the money and see where it leads…..

The Replacements
#MarchMovieMadness is in full swing, and this week, we are calling on the help of The One! That’s right! We need Neo to come out of retirement and play QB while the spoiled, rich pros strike because $5 million is less than $8 million.
The replacement Washington Sentinels have an insane middle linebacker, a speedy wide receiver that can’t catch, and a deaf tight end. Now they need someone to bring it all together. They need THE Keanu Reeves!
The 2000 sports comedy, The Replacements, is the topic of this week's episode!
The owners and the players are at odds. So now it’s up to coach Jimmy McGinty (Gene Hackman) to build a team of nobodies and get them to the playoffs!
You’ll laugh. You’ll dance. You’ll eat more eggs than you can fit in your mouth in this comedy sports classic!
