Koon talks about expecting his second child, and as fate would have it, the day after recording his wife went into labor and he had to pull out of the aforementioned tournament. What a show we’ve got this week! The winningest Irish poker player of all time Andy Black is here for a hotly anticipated debate with Dara on GTO vs white magic. We are also joined by poker player and quiz show semi-pro Lori-Ann Persinger. For strategy, we look at a hand of Dara’s from a recent Irish Poker Tour event in which the villain is his former student, top Irish pro Stephen Kehoe. Jason Koon stops by (sort of) to discuss the subject of knowing what level your opponent is on and the relevant exploits that can be deployed. Plus Barry Carter takes another comedic look at the recent news.

Jason Koon is coming off of his best year on the tournament circuit with nearly $3 million in earnings. In fact, four of Koon's five biggest scores came in 2016.

Koon won the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showodwn in August for $1 million and most recently, he nearly took down back-to-back $25,000 high roller events at Bellagio. In total, the West Virginia native has $6.5 million in live cashes.
