Today, on Red Church, Joseph Z is in the studio with Heather Z, and they talk about coming boldly before the throne of God. They begin with the word of God from the Book of Hebrews 4:1-7, which instructs us not to fall short of entering God’s promise of rest, which He holds out to every one of us till this moment. Joseph also brings to our understanding that the difference between Christianity and every other religion is “Grace” because every religion is hinged on doing and trying. Still, Jesus based our faith on Done and Trusting. Again, he makes us understand that the word of God does not work unless we mix it with our faith, and when we get born-again, we must renew our minds with God’s word.

Joseph leads us to the Book of Psalm 46:4-11, which informs us about a river whose stream shall make glad the city of God. He interprets this river to be the presence of God. He further makes us understand that being still in the Lord takes a great deal of effort, but if we can summon enough strength and faith to be still, God shows Himself most unimaginably. Also, he informs us that the word of God is alive, and in the words of Napoleon, “The Bible is no mere book, it is a living creature with a power that conquers all who oppose it”. 

Moreso, Joseph brings to our understanding, that Jesus looked at sin in the flesh and condemned it, even though He was tempted as we are, yet He is, without sin. Given this, we’re yet instructed by God’s word to come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need. He further explains that when the devil goes to accuse us before the Father, he gets disappointed because our great intercessor is sitting next to the Father, on the throne of grace interceding for us always. 

In addition, they make us understand that we do not go to God in our authority but in the name and the blood of the son of the Living God, for it’s not because of what we did, but because of what He did. Given this, Heather prays that we get the revelation of the finished works of Jesus while charging us to make our demands from the Lord, for He is able, fully equipped, and acquainted with whatever we have going on, in our lives. She further declares that answers, solutions, and healing are coming to us, for God is present, to do all of that we require of Him exceedingly and beyond our expectations.

Last week we learned that It's All Part of The Plan and agreed to live by faith and truth but Where Do We Go From Here? Tonight we fly past the political stuff to get to the real meat of the matter. What we talk about on this program is bigger than any of us, bigger than election chaos, bigger than the future of our country or even this world.

This is coming as a reminder that the solution to our worries is in Jesus.

Christ did not say “serve me and I will die to restore your relationship with God.” Before the foundation of the world, Christ chose to die for me and you so that we could have eternal life. We are not designed to carry the weight of sin, it causes sickness, depression, oppression, sadness, and separation from our Creator. Why not accept the finished work of Jesus Christ? The World situation is aligning with the Word of God. We, as Christians, must find our place in the Lord’s army and walk therein. II Chronicles 7:14 tells us what God requires “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.” I can see the lack of the knowledge of God and how actions/legislation/lifestyles that are contrary to the Word of God are being attributed to Christ. Lord, thank you for your mercy and grace because it truly endures forever. Nothing I can say or do will earn me the love you have shown BUT the price I must pay is my life. Not because it will give me brownie points, but because the sacrifice you made bought me and I am not my own. We are living in the last days and although I have heard that statement numerous times, it is just beginning to become real to me. What are the last days? The battle manifests in the natural realm, but for Christians, we fight in the spiritual realm through prayer, fasting, and searching the scriptures because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I am seeing the devil continue to use racism/sexism/religion to divide. Moreover, when men/women call evil good and good evil, for example, God create Adam and Eve. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Satan has perverted the marriage bed through men with men, women with women, men with beasts, and women with beasts. Sex outside of marriage is acceptable in most societies. This does not make fornication right in the eyes of Jesus. It is still wrong and considered a sin. When those of us who say we are Christians TRULY become like Christ or walk in the same obedience that Christ did with God, then the Lord will be able to take revenge on all disobedience. The Word of God promises in 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 (KJV) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. The battle manifests in the natural realm, but for Christians, we fight in the spiritual realm through prayer, fasting, and searching the scriptures because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I am seeing the devil continue to use racism/sexism/religion to divide. Moreover, when men/women call evil good and good evil, for example, God create Adam and Eve. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Satan has perverted the marriage bed through men with men, women with women, men with beasts, and women with beasts. Sex outside of marriage is acceptable in most societies. This does not make fornication right in the eyes of Jesus. It is still wrong and considered a sin. When those of us who say we are Christians TRULY become like Christ or walk in the same obedience that Christ did with God, then the Lord will be able to take revenge on all disobedience. The Word of God promises in 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 (KJV) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. My hope is in Jesus Christ, and in Him alone!!!! I will continue to strive to hide his Word in my heart that I might not sin against him. Letting his Words cleanse me from the inside out! We each must study to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the Word of truth. In order to understand the Word of God, we must have the Holy Ghost - Christ in us, the hope of glory because the natural man (natural mind) cannot understand the things of our supernatural God. We must pray much one for another, pray for those in authority, pray for the veterans and those who are yet wearing a military uniform in defense of America. Pray for our enemies.
