Well, our month of looking at bad 4th movies in a franchise is just about at an end. To wrap it all up, we take a look at the 4th installment no one was asking for (but the studio gave it to us anyway), Lethal Weapon 4.

Is Army of the Dead good? Joe Pesci is the best gangster. Why are documentaries awful? 

The era of the Crooked Table Podcast ends with a bang as we discuss Martin Scorsese's 1990 crime drama Goodfellas. Jason from Binge Movies joins the show as we break down the film's legacy, its place in Scorsese's legendary filmography, and Goodfellas' Best Picture loss to Dances with Wolves.

Part 2

This week, we watch the legendary Italian film makers final film. Clocking in at nearly 4 hours long (originally meant to be 6 hours), this film contains some of the most graphic content we’ve seen so far on the list. While we would find it hard to recommend to most people, its impossible to not be impressed by the cinematography, sets, and epic period piece details. Once Upon A Time In America (1984), directed by Sergio Leone.

At the start of production in Winnetka, Illinois, Home Alone seemed to have things ready to go with the entire production being done in a gym. But Daniel Stern would be fired early to be replaced by a Matlock actor. Also learn how Warners got mad that Home Alone would end up costing more then the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. 

Also hear about how Joe Pesci took inspiration from the Looney Tunes, how they got lucky with getting John Williams as a composer and why the film was in theaters all the way till June of the next year.

John Hughes was in a point in his career where he would exit directing to focus on writing and producing. Though Uncle Buck would provide some help, it was actually a vacation where John got the idea. Learn how he wrote his script...almost as close as the film would come out.
