    B-roll of Tuesday night (15 Mar, 11), volunteers gathered up items that the Misawa Air Base community donated to disaster relief. A group of teachers from Mason Academy in Sendai, Japan drove up to Misawa Air Base and loaded a truck full of supplies, receiving everything from basic necessities such as food and water to blankets, clothes, and baby diapers.     B-roll of volunteers in the Misawa community gather donations of food, clothes, and blankets. The high school serves as the initial collection and sorting point, and a hangar serves as a storage area, where the donations can be palletized and transported to the places that need it most (Hachinohe, Sendai, etc.). At one point, the high school gymnasium was so full, the volunteers had to temporarily suspend collection of items. Includes interview with Amy Sweeney, Edgren High School Teacher.     This is the initial airlift of USAID, Search and rescue, and FEMA supplies to Japan by C-17. 3 Airlift Sq, Dover AFB, Del. performed the airlift originating at Andrews AFB with a 15 hour non-stop flight to Misawa AB, Japan.
