Let us take a dive into the life of bugs. In this episode we will take our imaginations into the great outdoors, more importantly into the life of Kiddie Katydid. Let's find out how he interacts with other outdoor insects and animals on a daily bases. Let the fun begin!

In this second episode of "Whitefoot the Wood Mouse" we journey away from the comfort and safety of the known, to the dangers and scary moments of the unknown. As we watch Whitefoot bravely start a new chapter in his life, we watch him face many fears. With hard work and wood smarts he shows us that all things can be overcome. Even in the most fearfull situations in life, friends can be made and succes is to be had. What once was scary can become a safe place if you allow it.

Today we start a new book "Whitefoot the Wood Mouse" by Thornton W. Burgess. I am fond of this story because of its ability to relate real life situations to such cute little characters allowing young kids to learn valuable life lessons. These first chapters find us watching Whitefoot navigate his life from a comfortable position in life. Although safe from most predators, he still finds danger can be found anywhere and at anytime. We will also watch as he cautiously makes friends with others even though they are not like him.

Let's take a look at what is going on in the world of the little rabbits today. I wonder if they can stay out of trouble this time.

This story is taken from the book "Children's Hour with Red Riding Hood and Other Stories" by Watty Piper. It shows kids how dangerous it can be to share information with strangers.

This is a story of how cousins help each other, while getting into trouble.

I love that in this story we see that sometimes it is better to be smart and not strong.

Today's story is about a little squirrel that is rude and has no manners. In the end, I bet he wishes he was nicer.

It's the last days of the dinosaurs, although they don't know it yet. Beneath their huge feet, something is stirring.
