A timely discussion follows as we touch upon the recent controversy about the funding of Catholic Schools within the Public System, ignited by the York Catholic District School Board's decision not to fly the Pride Flag. Dr Prachi Srivastava, a tenured Associate Professor at Western University specializing in education and global development, will join us to delve into this.

Lastly, we're exploring the power of movement with physiotherapist Amanda Morin. Drawing from her experience as an athlete and her passion for the human body, Amanda is here to discuss her children’s book, "Move with Nature." It's an invitation to change our approach to exercise, using nature as an inspiration, especially when it comes to our little ones.

My first guest today, Katherine North joins me to discuss her  enthralling memoir, ‘Holy Heathen,’ which takes us on a personal journey - from the confines of an evangelical upbringing to the liberating expanses of heathen mysticism. Katherine share a bit of her story and encourages us all to embrace the chaos and find the beauty in life's messiness

Dr Christine Palmay from Care to Know is back just in time as things start to heat up across the country. Dr. Palmay shares why proper suncare is vitally important and what ingredients to look for in the products you buy.

Anne Brodie is back with new entertainment and may have finally convinced me to watch a foreign film with the release of Subtraction, a psychological thriller out of Teheran that explores the ideas of multiplicity, climate change, and coping with a life-changing event that can't be explained plus the fabulous Kim Cattrall is back in a new series on Netflix called Glamourous!

How much do you know about the Inuvialut people? Until this interview I knew nothing which is why I’m so thankful Taalrumiq joins me this week. A beacon of cultural preservation and an ambassador for the Inuvialuit people of Canada’s western Arctic, Taalrumiq educates and inspires through fine art, fashion, and short format videos where she weaves ancestral knowledge, blood memory, and passion into a vibrant tapestry that encourages pride in Indigenous identity.

If you’ve ever felt that in order to fit in or to be accepted, you needed to curate your actions, words, or even your personality then you’ll definitely want to stick around for my interview with Ritu Bhasin, author of the new book,  We’ve got this, unlocking the beauty of belonging.

Finally, I’m joined by Vivian Boyko also known as @justagram who started her journey on Tiktok at the age of 69 with the simple goal of promoting her book. Little did she know, she would soon become a sensation with over 411,000 followers. From life stories, humour, wigs, and even apple pies, she does it all and has been inspiring many with her positivity and zeal for life. I can’t wait for you to meet her.

Periods are a normal part of women’s lives, and yet there is still an unbelievable amount of stigma surrounding them. Professional triathlete Emma Pallant-Browne knows this all too well. When an image of her racing while on her period gained viral traction on Instagram, Emma decided to push back on the comments and chose to speak out and acknowledge what is considered ‘taboo,’ and why we need to change the narrative around periods to support women and girl athletes.

Aly Pain is back and with a topic most parents have to deal with, sibling rivalry. Aly sheds some light on why sibling rivalry happens, what to do when if it gets really toxic, and how to help facilitate better communication with your teens.

We all have a favourite “f” word, but there’s only one person I know of whose favourite f word is forgiveness and that’s Shannon Maroney. Shannon is the author of Heal for Real, and joins me to discuss why forgiveness is so powerful, and trust me you will want to hear why Shannon is a true expert on forgiving.

There’s nothing funny about anorexia, but as with most things that doesn’t mean we can’t insert a little humour when discussing it. No one knows this better than Sheri Segal Glick who is sharing her journey with diet culture, body image, and anorexia in her new book The Skinny which follows her messy but hopeful fight for full recovery.

Finally, Anne Brodie has her regular roundup of new shows and movies over at WhatsheSaidtalk.com this week, so we could share her interview with the one and only Brad Garrett who is currently starring alongside Patricia Arquette in the new Apple TV+ show, High Desert
