We all have convictions and opinions that drive us to make decisions that guide our life. But we often struggle to know how to balance our convictions with compassion for others with differing opinions. So how do we rise above the tension to love each other the way Jesus calls us to?
Circumstances, events, and sometimes people put you in a position where you just want justice. But justice is God's business. Instead of teaching someone a lesson, let God teach you.
Many of us will face a time when God invites us into something we don't feel ready for. Our past may make us feel unworthy of his plans for us. But God's grace and mighty power go far beyond our shame and fear.

We may have been told that following Jesus brings a trouble-free life—but the truth is that Jesus told us we would face trials and sorrows even after following him. But the good news is that God is in the business of making something good out of a bad situation.
The idea that God is a scorekeeper, constantly keeping track of our sin, keeps us from knowing the truth about how he views us. While justice condemns the wrong and the wrongdoer, God removes our sin so that he can condemn the sin, but love us. When we realize this, we can begin to truly experience the forgiveness he has given us—and see the true image of God through the distortion. Listen to Podcast.
We tend to avoid situations that we don't want to deal with. But what happens when God is the one asking us to take a step forward? It's normal to be confused or inconvenienced when we're interrupted by something we don't understand–but the good news is that God has already prepared us for anything he brings our way. Because when God's plans are radically different from our own, it means his dream for us is bigger and better than we can even imagine. All we have to do is take one step. Listen to Podcast.
When we look at God from a human perspective, our view is often clouded by what’s going on in our own atmosphere. It’s easy to buy into the idea that God is remote and distant, but the entire message of the Old Testament tells us that we matter to God. When we realize that he is searching for us with intensity, that we are valuable to him, we can see the true nature of God––that he loves us like a father. Listen to Podcast.
When it comes to how we view God, our perception can alter how we see everything in the world. We may have the idea that God is a ticking time bomb, constantly angered by all the things we do that don’t follow his guidance. But the truth is that God is slow to anger, and his reasoning goes beyond frustration, leading to his love for us. And while his anger has limits, his love does not. Listen to Podcast.

When it comes to facing big risks, attitude is everything. We know that God has created us with all that we need to succeed, so why do we find ourselves acting out of an attitude of scarcity? Because God is our unlimited supply, we can live with an attitude of abundance. And we can pick the risky fights with confidence—because we already know who wins. Listen to Podcast.
It's easy to have faith when everything is going right. But how do we stay fearless when believing God means going beyond the facts? To live fearlessly, we are called to have faith that is bigger than man's expectations. And when we're stuck between faith and fear, we can have peace knowing that God is good. Listen to Podcast.
When it comes to doubting ourselves, we can come up with a list of excuses as to why we aren't good enough to do what God wants us to do. But God has given us the power to take on any situation He presents to us—if we are willing to look past the unknown and see that His will is greater than our fear. Listen to Podcast.
When we're in the heat of the moment, it can be difficult to separate how we should react from how we feel. God wants us to react in accordance with his truth about us: that we are accepted, sure, and significant in him. When we recognize that nothing outside of us defines who we are, we can make pre-decisions that stay in line with what he wants for us. Because when we see the big picture, we can live from the inside-out. Listen to Podcast.
When we find ourselves stuck in destructive circles, what is it that keeps us from getting out of them? We tend to avoid pain at all costs—even if it means sacrificing growth. But changing our perspective can show us that experiencing short-term pain can lead to long-term progress. Because when we realize our pain can have purpose, we remember that God has better things waiting for us when we get out of the circle. Listen to Podcast.
We can't be liked by everyone and be effective at anything. If we let ourselves be distracted by what others think, we forget what God has told us he knows. Getting out of the circle of wanting to make everyone happy means taking a step back and remembering that we are here for only one reason—to live for an audience of one. Listen to Podcast.
When we care about someone, we want the best for them. But even if our desires are good, the relationship can become toxic when we let those desires become demands. Our responsibility isn't to change people–it's to love them and entrust them to God. Because when we realize that God is ultimately in control, we can truly live in peace. Listen to Podcast.
