Drake - For All The Dogs Album Review (feat. Johan Rodriguez)

Drake - For All The Dogs Album Review (feat. Johan Rodriguez)

Depending on what you consider the definition of an album or mixtape or studio playlist is.. For All The Dogs is the 8th solo studio album from Drake? 9th studio album?  Irrelevant.

Toronto’s own Aubrey Graham, better known to the world as Drake, has been doing everything he possibly can to stay on top of the music industry. Seemingly dropping at least one to two projects a year for the last four years in a row, AND publishing his own poetry book “Titles Ruin Everything”, Drake has been showing no signs of loosening his grip on mainstream hip hop and mainstream pop music. In 2023, he’s throwing himself back into the fold with his newest studio album, For All The Dogs.

With 23 tracks (not counting the extra 6 tracks that just dropped last week), and the cover art provided by his own son Adonis, For All The Dogs fills its 1 hour and 25 minute run-time with loads of wavy production and features ranging from popular newcomers (Yeat, Sexyy Red, Teezo Touchdown) and some more familiar names (21 Savage, J. Cole, SZA, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, Lil Yachty).

Joining us on today’s episode is returning guest and honorary 808’s member, Johan Rodriguez!

Here is our review of Drake’s 2023 full length studio album, For All The Dogs.

    EP 75. 1975, Not The 1975

    EP 75. 1975, Not The 1975

In this groovy episode The New Dad Rock explores the timeless music of 1975, a year that marked the pinnacle of classic rock and hinted at exciting new directions.

1975 was the classic rockest of all classic rock years. The genre had shed its rough edges, polished its sound to a glossy shine, and delivered some of the most iconic albums in rock history. From Bob Dylan's introspective "Blood on the Tracks" to Pink Floyd's mesmerizing "Wish You Were Here," and Led Zeppelin's epic "Physical Graffiti," this year was a treasure trove of classic rock gems.

But beneath the surface, there were murmurs of change. New directions in rock music were about to take flight, setting the stage for the future. Join Keith and Steve as they explore the dichotomy of '75, where the past and the future met in a harmonious clash of sounds.

And don't miss a special feature as they discuss Future Islands' appearance on David Letterman, offering a glimpse into the ever-evolving landscape of rock music.

Whether you're a seasoned classic rock enthusiast or a new listener eager to explore the roots of rock, this episode promises to be a musical journey you won't want to miss.

#22 FOR ALL THE DOGS - Album Review - Drakes schlechtestes Album??

#22 FOR ALL THE DOGS - Album Review - Drakes schlechtestes Album??

FOR ALL THE DOGS - So nennt Drake sein 8. Studioalbum.

FULL EP | Lil Yachty Under Attack; Sex Overrated in Marriage; & 90 Day Rule

FULL EP | Lil Yachty Under Attack; Sex Overrated in Marriage; & 90 Day Rule

It is Thursday on The Morning Hustle Podcast with Lore’l and Kyle Santillian. Yesterday Lore’l and Kyle asked who held the longest grudge and why. The hustlers did not finish giving their thoughts so we played their voicemails. On the Lo’ Down, Lore’l spoke about Lil Yachty being under attack for his interview with Sexxy Red on his new podcast, A Safe Place. She revealed that she was raped and people think that Lil Yachty and his partner Mitch’s reaction to her Sexxy Red saying that she was raped was dismissive. Both Lore’l and Kyle did not think that Yachty was being dismissive but trying to change the topic to something a little less uncomfortable for them to talk about. Muni Long made a comment about her marriage and that she does not feel that sex is important in her marriage. That sex is overrated and when you have it, it is special. So the question of the day is sex overrated in a marriage. Lashondra is on The Morning Hustle Podcast and she is trying to win Cash Grab today. She is repping Ohio and she says she’s going to get all ten right. Listen to see if she actually got all ten right. Twila is on with The Morning Hustle and she is Asking For a Friend. She is in a relationship with a guy and she really likes him but she is trying something different and waiting until 90 days until she has sex with him. But her guy is getting frustrated and he is headed on a boys trip and she thinks that he is going to have sex when he goes away. She is thinking of amending her 90 day rule but she doesn't know yet. She is asking the hustlers what she should do.
