    Every March, Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance recognizes Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. In the United States, colorectal cancer is the third-leading cause of cancer-related death in men and women. This cancer affects adults of all racial and ethnic groups, however, it is most often diagnosed in people who are over the age of 50. Colorectal cancer is treatable when it is discovered early.
