Asking Jesus to allow his will to become our will is an absolutely essential part of Faithing our day today! If we live in a way where we are constantly seeking our own will, we will most certainly drift off of the path Christ has paved for us, because by our human nature we are drawn to things other than God’s will. How can you transform yourself into someone who continually seeks God's will?

Our daily Faith Your Day declaration: 

Jesus, thank you so much for loving me in the way that you do! You designed me on purpose for a purpose. I want to live to my full potential today, with a mindset that honors you and soul that seeks to know you better. Jesus I know that you are the way, the truth and the life, and I ask you to guide me and reveal to me what you want to show me here, have me experience here, and learn from this season. Help mold me and shape me into the best version of me. I will live today as your vessel ready to receive your word, and pour out your overflowing love to those all around me. Please allow your thoughts to become my thoughts, your ways to become my ways and your will to become what I truly desire. Jesus if you are in it I want it and if you are not I ask you to slam that door shut. I choose to faith this day of life! I am so grateful to be your girl! In Jesus name Amen!

Are you so driven to “get there” that you are missing the here and now? I can’t help but feel that this message is a very specific reminder for me as well. I know that many of you listening are driven, and motivated, and determined to leave a legacy while you are here…and like me you probably spend a great deal of time wondering what it is you are meant to do and accomplish, and figure out. Have you ever struggled with an ongoing issue, and feel that you are spinning your wheels, staying stuck, and not making much progress. How often does God whisper to your soul, and you pass off his advice as something too simple or underwhelming to possibly be really what he is saying. Our enemy is constantly trying to break in to our hearts. His biggest fear is us being close to God and faithfully fulfilling our God given purpose. Truly, he wants none of that…he wants to separate you from God, to have you distance yourself from him, because the further away from God you are…the more points of weakness your soul has.  I bet you haven’t likely compared the devil to a cyber hacker lately…if ever but think about it…don’t they both prowl around looking for their victims…don’t they look for a way in, a point of weakness that they can invade in hopes of taking what is yours and using it to extort you and prosper them.

Our culture suggests that struggle is an unnecessary part of life, and that if things aren’t easy or comfortable, it’s best to seek out a new path, a new plan or a new purpose. God isn’t into the business of disappointing his girls, he doesn’t gain satisfaction from seeing you bummed out when your plans are sidelined, he doesn’t smirk down from his heavenly throne when he sees you struggling to change the outcome of a situation that he has protected you from.
