Lorin Sklamberg är mannen med den personliga rösten i, och en av grundarna av, New York-klezmerbandet The Klezmatics. Här berättar han lite om sig själv och om bandets tillkomst och stil.

The Klezmatics skivbolagsdirektör uppmanade bandet att lägga in sina egna personligheter och musikaliska bagage i musiken snarare än att upprepa vad andra gjort före dem. De tog rådet på stort allvar, och i och med andra albumet, Rhythm + Jews från 1993, fick folk upp ögonen för dem.
