Jsme zpět. V mobilecastu s pořadovým číslem 89 probereme zkušenosti z reálného používání finálních Windows 10 Mobile na Lumii 950 XL. Jak moc se vlastně povedlo Microsoftu vše dotáhnout do konce? Podíváme se ale také na konec Firefox OS, pokusy Facebooku s živým vysíláním videa a podrbeme také trochu Apple. To vše, opět živě, od 16 hodin.

Dnešní mobilecast bude plný čísel. Nejen, že se budeme bavit o dojmech z Lumií 950, 950 XL a 550, ale projdeme si také finanční výsledky výrobců. S kým to jde stále z kopce a komu se naopak daří? A jak je to vlastně se zrušením Roamingu v rámci EU? Kolik ušetříme? S OnePlus si dokonce procvičíme i rovnice. 1 + X = 249 €. To vše živě dnes od 16:00.

Dnešní mobilecast v méně tradičním složení vykopneme nejvyhledávanějšími technologickými novinkami na Googlu za rok 2014. Poté se zastavíme u BlackBerry a jeho modelů Classic a Passport. Třetí v řadě na přetřes přijde čínské Xiaomi, jemuž se podíváme na zoubek tentokrát z finanční stránky. Závěr předvánočního dílu potom věnujeme levným Lumiím 435 a 335.

Po nezáživném minulém týdnu nás toho v mobilecastu čeká opravdu mnoho. Ve skutečnosti více, než se vejde do perexu. Heslovitě alespoň ta nejzajímavější témata: Honor 6, Google Inbox, OneDrive, Microsoft Band, Samsung Galaxy A3 a A5 a mnoho dalšího. Páteční podcastová dávka novinek právě začíná.

NVIDIA v týdnu představila svůj herní Shield Tablet, který je nejenže poháněn firemním čipsetem K1, ale bude oficiálně dostupný také u nás. Před zmínkou o novém Xiaomi Mi4 se zastavíme také u Lumie 530. Druhá (méně hardwarová) část bude věnována problému klesajících prodejů iPadů a naopak prosperujícímu LG. Na závěr si potom zaspekulujeme o tom, jak asi Google naloží s Twitchem.

Nejdůležitější událostí uběhlého týdne byla bezesporu konference Microsoft Build, na které jsme se dočkali představení Windows Phone 8.1 a updatu pro Windows 8.1. Zároveň se na hlavní keynote objevil také Stephen Elop a ukázal nové Lumie. My se ještě zastavíme také u zkušeností s Galaxy S5 a u plánovaného ukončení roamingu v EU.

Po týdnu je tu opět další díl našeho video podcastu. Na začátku se zastavíme u spekulací ohledně příštího iPhonu s velkým displejem, krátce se vrátíme k první dojmům z Xperie Z1 Compact a rozebereme si novou nabídku „neomezeného“ internetu od Vodafone. Kromě bídného výsledku prodejů Lumií se ještě také vrátíme k našim zkušenostem s Google Glass.

Tobby Smith returns to help Tim provide a longitudinal review of Nokia's Lumia 710 Windows phone. After over eight months of use, the Lumia 710 proved itself a terrific value in smart phone quality, including
* Convenient, portable size with grippy back cover that can be switched with other colors to personalize the phone
* Hardware buttons for the three standard Windows Phone buttons, instead of the soft buttons so often found on other models. We find dedicated hardware buttons much more usable.
* Clear and bright screen with high contrast.
* Good video recording.
* Superior applications specific to Nokia phones, such as Nokia Drive.

Problems included
* Tim's phone broke after only five months without any abuse or dropping.
* Still camera images are average at best.
* Volume of speaker is not loud enough to hear nav instructions above road noise or  stereo playing.

Despite the dislikes, the Lumia 710 is a great value-priced smart phone. As Windows 8 phones roll out, it may become even cheaper to buy and thus an even better value for customers who don't need the advanced functionality of Windows Phone 8.
