In this episode of 'Editorial,' Mr. Sujit Nair discusses the potential reasons behind the departure of senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan, who has recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On Tuesday, the former Maharashtra Chief Minister formally became a BJP member in a ceremony attended by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Fadnavis, in his welcome, praised Chavan as a significant figure in Maharashtra politics with experience in both the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha. 

महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) के नासिक में एक चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जहां 4 मुस्लिम लोगों को मंदिर में जबरन घुसने के मामले में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है. यह मामला नासिक के प्रसिद्ध त्र्यंबकेश्वर मंदिर का है. इसके साथ ही मामले की जांच करने के लिए एक स्पेशल जांच टीम का गठन किया गया है. आरोपियों की पहचान आकिल युसूफ सैयद, सलमान अकिल सैयद, मतीन राजू सैयद और सालिम बख्शू सैयद के रूप में हुई है. दरअसल, यह मामला 13 मई का है, जब नासिक के प्रसिद्ध त्र्यंबकेश्वर मंदिर में चार व्यक्ति मंदिर में जबरन घुस गए. ये लोग पहले संदल जुलूस का हिस्सा बने और उन्होंने शिवलिंग पर चादर चढ़ाने की कोशिश की. जिसके बाद उन्हें अंदर जाने से रोक दिया गया. बता दें कि प्रसिद्ध त्र्यंबकेश्वर मंदिर भगवान शिव के 12 ज्योतिर्लिंग में से एक है. इसी के साथ इस मंदिर में केवल हिंदुओं को जाने की इजाजत है. इन लोगों के घुसने के तुरंत बाद सिक्योरिटी गार्डस ने उन्हें अंदर जाने से रोक दिया. 

In a move that came as a surprise to many, veteran politician Sharad Pawar on Tuesday resigned as president of the Nationalist Congress Party, the political outfit he floated more than two decades ago. "I have decided to step down as the president of the NCP," Pawar said at a press briefing. His announcement was greeted by loud exclamations from the gathering.

अजित पवार ने बीजेपी में जाने की अटकलों के बीच कहा है कि, 'मैं पहले भी एनसीपी के साथ था और हमेशा रहूंगा।' वहीं इससे पहले चाचा शरद पवार ने भी अजित के बीजेपी में जाने की खबरों को बेबुनियाद बताया था। इसके साथ ही महाराष्ट्र एनसीपी चीफ जयंत पाटिल ने कहा था कि ऐसा केवल अजित पवार और उनके परिवार को टारगेट करने के लिए किया जा रहा है। महाराष्ट्र में विधायकों की सदस्यता को लेकर सुप्रीम फैसले से पहले ही जोड़तोड़ की राजनीति शुरू हो गई है। दरअसल शिंदे की बगावत के बाद उद्धव ठाकरे ने विधायकों की सदस्यता को लेकर सवाल खड़ा करते हुए इसको लेकर याचिका दायर की थी। 

महाराष्ट्र में एकनाथ शिंदे की बगावत के बाद शुरू हुआ सियासी संग्राम अब तक जारी है। शिवसेना पर किसका हक होगा? इसे लेकर भी मामला कोर्ट में है। इसी बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट में मामले की सुनवाई हुई है। कोर्ट ने मामले की सुनवाई के लिए 27 सितंबर की तारीख तय की है।

महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) के पुणे (Pune) में बीजेपी विधायक को मंत्री पद दिलाने के नाम पर धोखाधड़ी का प्रयास किये जाने का मामला सामने आया है. इस बाबत मुंबई क्राइम ब्रांच (Mumbai Crime Branch) ने चार आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है. दरअसल इन आरोपियों ने पुणे से बीजेपी के विधायक राहुल कुल (Rahul Kul) के पीए से संपर्क कर राहुल को महाराष्ट्र कैबिनेट (Maharashtra Cabinet) में जगह दिलाने के नाम पर 100 करोड़ रुपयों की मांग की थी.

As the crisis enters legal arena, there are arguments being fielded from both sides which are being heard right now. I will tell you some of the highlights of the hearing. Moments before the hearing, a fresh application was moved by the Shinde faction before the Supreme Court. The new application stated that the lives of the rebel MLAs are under serious threat from the Shiv Sena cadre. The application said that the MVA government in Maharashtra has lost control of law and order in the state.
