Claude Monet kept painting even as he went blind. Vincent Van Gogh kept making art in the insane asylum and despite the fact that he never sold a painting while he was alive. Miguel de Cervantes wrote Don Quixote in jail. Rick Allen from Def Leppard kept drumming after his arm was amputated. Sir Richard Branson built a huge empire despite, or maybe because of, severe dyslexia. 

But you- you’re making excuses for why you aren’t doing your creative work.

-Some people pride themselves on coming up with truly creative excuses. But in reality, excuses are one of the worst things for your creativity.
